Pollo Campero — Restaurant in Tampa

This afternoon we visited the drive-thru and when we arrived all 4 screens where the menu is located were off, we proceeded to order at the window and let the person know that the screens were off, she let the supervisor know and the supervisor told the manager, the gentleman tells us that the screens were on and that he had gone outside to check, I don't need to lie about some screens being off, then they ask me what I was going to order and since the screens were off I ask for a menu, they hand it to me without hiding their expressions of dissatisfaction. And the lady who served us doesn't speak English! You should train your people better, you guys are doing business in the USA not in Guatemala to treat the customer as they please, apart from all that I order a 3-piece menu and we ask for 2 sides knowing that the second one will be charged, and the lady tells me the menu comes with 1 side, very rude staff from the manager to the person who served us at the window, the worst experience ever!! You...

The cashier made a mistake on our order, cancelled the order ?, tried to refund and rang the order up the second time for which we paid The refund of $30 was never submitted and did not show on our card. One week later we visited with receipt in hand and the same lady was there. She apologized took the receipt we had for the second order and our phone number.?Told us we would hear from the owner. SILENCE. Not a word. Respectfully, the cashiers aren’t trained to refund. This is the second error on orders we’ve had. I do not at all believe it was intentional as workers there are very friendly, however I believe language differences made our communication of the order difficult. The effect is the same as stealing when the owner does not respond. We will attempt again to make this right. Liked the chicken, but ordering is tuff.

The service was horrible. The young man who took my order acted like he didnt want to be there and didnt seem to now much about the menu. When i got to the window a manager handed me my food. He didnt greet me or say anything he just handed me my food with a distorted look on his face like he didnt want to be there either. When i got home i had discovered that my order was all wrong. I had asked for grilled white meat chicken and got fried dark meat chicken legs! SMH i was in a rage. But im partly to blame for not checking the bag before leaving 😒 Anyhoo, the rice and beans were bland. The fries tasted old and stale. The only redeeming quality was the fried chicken and nuggets. I have to admit they were decent. Especially the nuggets. Not shabby at all. Which is why i gave them 3 stars instead of 1.
