To whom it may concern, I recently went to this location on Oct 18th 2017 and experienced by far one of the worst customer experiences in my entire life. While the beginning of the transactions started like any other, its end left me wondering what 7th level of Hell I fell into. Myself and 4 other individuals place one single order of various numbered meals totalling 14 texmex food items. Like any good party leader after we paid and received our food we pulled into a parking space still on the property and counted to make sure all the food items were accounted for. Unfortunately, we discovered that 2 Doritos Locos tacos didn't make it into the bag and so we pulled back into line to speak with the cashier to inform them of the error, this was to be expected with a larger than normal order. When we started to explain this simple and easy to correct mistake, Constance, the food item assembler, shrieked across the cashier and directly into our vehicle stating that she made our order correctly and there was no way that a mistake could have been made. As we tried to explain that when we counted the items given to us added to only 12 items and not 14 she, instead of saying I'm so sorry let me get you those items right away, she continued to banshee away that her culinary prowess was unmatched by any other and our order was made correctly. After yelling for what felt like minutes she demanded to see the bag of food that was given to us, mind you we had split the food amongst ourselves already and the bag contained only one food item and the mounds of sauce and napkins graciously offered to us by the very sweet but now extremely startled cashier. We succumbed to the fits of rage and temper that were Constance's demands of handing over the bag. We explained a 5th time after she lost her breath from all her screaming that two delectable Doritos Locos Tacos hadn't made there way to us and she gruffed(never actually heard another human being gruff before) and walked away with our bag of sauce and one quesadilla and return minutes later with the missing items and no apology or half sincere oops my bad, enjoy your night. After reading other reviews about this one location it seems that Constance is constantly causing issues for the customer experience here and thus probably making it a hostile work environment for her fellow colleagues. Now based on the number of negative reviews this woman has caused, she seems to have been here quite some time. Let me offer this kind piece of advice, while she may show up and make a tasty taco or a mean A&W hotdog what kind of experience is she leaving and what is that doing to your bottom line I.E. return business or worse scaring away future business. Let us help Constance get the help she so desperately requires and think about putting her through some type of training seminar or class that teaches her a better way of interacting with clients than letting out high pitched squeals and moans to demand that we say we're wrong. Thank you for reading this long but important message. Have...
Read moreWell, needless to say I had a less than satisfactory experience at Taco Bell on Monday, 01/30/2017 at 7PM. I went to the location on 1701 E Fowler Ave, Tampa, FL 33612 with my husband and decided to order food. While at the drive thru, I encountered a nasty employee by the name of Carla H. My husband ordered two chicken quesadillas, one with light sauce. Carla made a comment into the speaker that my husband did not hear, so he politely repeated one quesadilla should have light sauce. Without missing a beat, Carla yelled into the speaker, "I SAID LIGHT.....CREAMY......JA-LA-PE-NO!!!" She said this as if my husband was slow and she had to break it down extra for him. Once we got to the window, I asked for a manager immediately. I was greeted by a girl with dreads and gold teeth, who looked dumbfounded from the get go. I explained to her what happened and I asked for the number to the corporate office. She advised me that I would have to contact the store to speak with someone else named Carla on Wednesday because they are a franchisee. Not to mention, when Carla came back to the window, she continued to be condescending. Also, my husband and I ended up getting sick from the food, which led me to believe something had been done to it since we spoke with the manager before we got our food. I contacted the store today, 02/01/2017 at 2:30PM and spoke with a manager named Markesha. I told her I was told to ask for Carla when I contacted the store so she could file my complaint. Markesha advised me that there was no manager at the store named Carla, only the rude employee that took our order previously. Markesha was very sympathetic to my complaint and provided me the phone number to the complaint line and told me she would pass my information along to the higher ups because me and my husband ended up getting sick from the food. I am extremely frustrated with this store because I have never encountered such rude service and then on top of everything else, my husband and I mysteriously get sick. I am definitely going to make sure that I leave a review everywhere I can and I will also contact the corporate office myself to make sure something is done to this store. I need whoever trains these employees to teach them favorable...
Read moreI would give zero stars if I could. I went there to get lunch today, it wasn’t too busy inside. There was 2 customers sitting and one waiting for an order, there was 3 cars in drive thru. I waited at register for over 10 minutes without being greeted or even spoken to at all. There were 2 employees, a girl and a guy, and they were sure to vent about them being the only 2 there. The lady told me to place my order at the kiosk, and I replied that I was paying with cash. She then went on to tell me that I could still place the order and pay later. So I placed my order for a total of $57.36 and my daughter and I went and sat down. After about 6 more customers came in and ordered, I got a little wary because we had been waiting about 15mins since I ordered. So after about 5 more minutes, I heard the female employee call 2 customers who came after me up to the counter to receive their order. I walked up to the counter and asked if they did not receive my order. This lady rolled her eyes and told me I had to pay before they would make the food. Now, this is where my frustration comes in…. I have never ordered on kiosk at Taco Bell, I didn’t even know you could order at kiosk if paying with cash, why wouldn’t you tell me I needed to pay after placing order before it would be prepared? And when I ask because I didn’t know, her rolling her eyes like I was upsetting her. I walked out and made it very clear that just because you are short staffed, doesn’t mean you should loose any customer service skills. Taco Bell lost out on that $57 sale, doesn’t seem like much BUT how much more will they loose because of her rudeness??? How much more will they loose at this location because of this 1 little review?? Customer service is all about putting the customer needs...
