Tacos Esthers — Restaurant in Tampa

Visited on a Saturday at about 730pm. Ordered a steak tostada and chicken taco with the standard toppings. The tostada was good although the fried tortilla base was pretty wet with oil; I couldn't bring myself to eat it. The softshell taco toppings were good but the chicken was terrible, I think it was undercooked. Unfortunately I had to spit it out (tried twice) and toss it. My guess is the chef was out and the girl who took my order at the counter prepared it too quickly. Anyway, she was friendly, and did ask how the food was, and I told her honestly. The money didn't matter to me and I didn't want a replacement so...

Fantastic place — a hidden gem is the perfect description! We got tacos al pastor and they were delicious. Handmade corn tortillas, perfectly cooked meat, generous portions… and even discounted on taco Tuesday. Super sweet and attentive staff, too. I came for their taco Tuesday special and it was $2.50 for the tacos with the meat choices they had which was plenty. I got the carnitas and pollo tacos and it was absolutely delicious! It was quick service nd the place was clean! Overall would come back and check out their other food...
