The Hyppo Hyde Park — Restaurant in Tampa

Cute little natural popsicle shop in Hyde Park. A vast variety of flavors to choose from. So many that I wish they had samples instead of it being you pay for one not knowing what you're truly getting. I had the Phoenix which was a layered popsicle with raspberry, mango, and banana coconut. I opted for this since I could try 3 different flavors. It was delightful but I'll be trying something else next time around. My husband had the orange cream which was delicious. Tasted like an orange-sicle. My daughter had the chocolate cheesecake which was also delicious. Tasted like a fudge pop. I think my recommendation is to have one with the dairy as they are more creamy and less fruity. They are also much softer to bite into and enjoy. The average pop is around $4. They also have a punch card available so you can earn free pops after so many purchases. There was only 1 staff member working and there was really no order to people walking in and being served. We were the second family to walk in....the 3rd person to walk in, walked right up and ordered his flavors before us. There was really no greeting upon entering or any ask for recommendations. This was our first time and felt like a weirdo when I asked if they had any recommendations on the top sellers or most popular. Was just told all of them sell good and a brief description of the color coding they use on their labels. Like green dots mean no added sugar and red dots are spicy.
