TNT BURGER — Restaurant in Tampa

Worst experience I’ve ever had. Ordered for pickup and waited a couple minutes longer to give them time to prepare order. Got down from car stated we were there for the pickup of order with confirmation on hand. They said it would be 5 more minutes. Then waited another 15 minutes because the food wasn’t ready per the only waiter there with short hair. Order was placed at 7:48pm for pick up 8:20pm-8:30pm got there at 8:18pm and waited before approaching establishment until 8:28pm. The kitchen staff said in Spanish after confirming name multiple times, that they gave may order to the wrong person but did not bother to inform me of that, then they just kept telling me to wait. After waiting a couple more minutes with no word from them about the order l asked for a refund and that I was no longer wanting the order. The one waiter kept attending other guest and dismissed me, then when I stopped and asked about the order status she stated it was not ready which was a lie from the kitchens conversation that I overheard. Then I asked for a refund and that I no longer wanted said order. They stated they needed to talk to manager who was not present, so they called them on the phone, which took more time of waiting while they were also taking care of other customers. I had to ask again what is going on with the refund and they stated they can’t provide refund because it was done through Grubhub, so we went on grubhub and they stated it could not be refunded because the order status stated it was being prepared, showed them the phone with grubhub response and they got on the phone with manager again then they walked away again. After a few more minutes they came back and stated that the manager said they can not process the refund and didn’t offer any other resolution. I then got upset and told them I was not leaving until I received my refund and the short hair waiter stated that it was not her fault that she’s just doing her job and that the person stole my order but the whole time I was there she was the only one handing out orders throughout the whole 1 hour I had to watch as everyone else was being attended and I was just being push aside as if it were my fault. I was very upset with the way the employees and even a manager who wasn’t on site would treat their customers. I wish they were honest from the start and told me the situation instead of speaking Spanish to each other as if I didn’t speak Spanish myself but when I responded back to them they were surprised. I found the treatment and push off attitude to be very disrespectful and all I was trying to do was either pick up my food or get a refund nothing more. At 9:05pm I left TNT burger in disbelief and with my refund it just took a very loud and upset approach to finally get the refund they were not trying to give me from the start it seemed based on my experience there. I hope no one has to go through something like this. I’m very patient and understanding but I would have appreciated honesty and respect from the start just like I was giving them from the beginning. I understand that it can get crazy at times and busy but stopping to confirm orders with people who are picking them up should be as important as taking orders for...

The hamburgers I had was the Covid-19 burger. It was really realy good it is essentially a food truck with a covered seating area tha is open ended. There is a seated area but I did have to fight with a couple of flies that thought I liked to share but I was basically eating outside so that was expected. Now the food, the burger came with a big plastic syringe full of a sauce jamed into it so you just fill it up. The burger was delicious, the toppings were fresh crisp veggies and the bacon was cooked not burnt. The fries were really good too but they came to the table cold. They had seceral becerage options I went with a bottle.of water which I know they bought at BJs 24 for $4.69 so.under 20 cents and I bought for $1,69. The burger and fries was $18 so a little pricey. What annoyed me actually was the paying process. They had the terminal that flips over for you to finish the transaction and essentially guults you into tipping. Not really an issue since I tip amyway but this is a takeout place with little service and one of the tip options is 35% which is insane I usually go 20% mindset 1 because it is easy to do the math in my head and 2 I let the service either push it up or down but there is no service here. You are handed a memu when you walk in you go to the registed and then they eith bting you food to ypu or if it's a to go order they put the bag on some metal shelving. The only negative is the price there are plenty of other places in Tampa where you can still get a really good burger and fries to go...
