SATA Empanada — Restaurant in Tampa

We tried the following empanadas; Spinach and cheese, beef, chicken, apple, steak and sausage. They were all absolutely delicious. We also tried the lentil soup, which is a must try! It’s outrageously delicious! Steak sandwich was also great!! Besides incredible food, the service is outstanding!!! We felt like family. Just after Milton came thru, and the stress of the day, we were treated with so much love and care! It was my daughter’s birthday and they were so sweet to give her a birthday balloon! Stopped by for a few empanadas to go. Owner was so hospitable and sweet. The food was made fresh, came out quickly, and was cooked to perfection, with each empanada in its own cute little labeled bag. We ordered the steak/mushroom, chicken, and ground beef empanadas, all of which were delicious and filled with meat. The lentil soup was also phenomenal. Would return due to the excellent customer service and presentation alone, but the food makes it perfect. I’m about 20+ minutes away, but will be making the trip here as frequently as I can. We wanted a great empanada and found Sata. Super stuffed empanadas, Not greasy. Initially, the two of us ordered one each to try, ate them, immediately went back to get one of all eight to go. Including the soup, you can not miss the soup. Not thick porridgy, but light and super satisfying lental soup. Now to order the pizza and sandwich next time.
