Imagine just moving to Florida, not knowing anyone and needing to purchase furniture for your Lanai. We decided to go out shopping and not particularly to purchase anything that day but just to get an idea and personally check out a few store furniture stores.

We pulled up to Palm Casual and walked right in. The space was beautiful. Steve the owner walked up to us and asked what we were looking for and because we were not sure he told us to take are time and look around. There was never any pressure. Steve came up to and ask our little one had he ever seen a NBA championship ring. Boy what an honor to get a picture with this ring on my sons finger. His wife and daughter were there helping other customers and the only way to explain the dialogue was that it felt like you were visiting family. The Michigan football game was on and my husband and Steve watched like two best friends bantering back and forth. We found what we liked and they all helped us with the fabric the color of the chairs and tables. We have never been into a store like this and felt like you wanted to go back and just visit just to say hi. They were honest with delivery times and bent over backwards to make sure our furniture would be delivered prior to our family coming to visit. The wonderful customer service extended all the way down to the delivery team. The quality of the furniture is top notch and we personally will send others to purchase their furniture from them as well. Finally when you think the friendliness couldn’t get any better after the delivery team left Steve called to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. We heard about Palm Casual from a friend and at first I thought it was too good to be true. A no hassle experience, super-friendly staff, affordable yet quality options for durable outdoor furniture? Direct from the manufacturer? Right here in Tampa? And that it was family owned? I was doubtful at first.

Then we met Steve. He acknowledge us within a minute of walking in, and then backed off, leaving us to explore the options. He'd pop by and check in with us while we shopped, provided us with information, then left us continue our search. Meanwhile, at least 3 different people came in, all of which had recently bought a complete set, and were truly thrilled with their purchase. They were all so thrilled I thought they were actors for a minute (they really weren't).

We decided to take a few minutes to look at a showroom down the road, just to due our due diligence, but we returned within a few minutes. No one had the quality, selection, or value pricing we found at Palm Casual. Plus, no one has Steve. Steve is a terrific salesman and so much fun to be around. He even gave us a discount if Autumn sang a Chicago song since he was going to the Chicago concert that night. Another lady came in wearing a Notre Dame shirt, and she told us he gives her a discount every time she wears Notre Dame apparel since Steve has an affinity for them. If you go, don't forget to ask to see Steve's World Championship NBA ring.

If I could give Palm Casual Tampa 6-stars I would! Just an incredible overall experience from the moment we walked in until delivery. We just built a new house and needed a new patio table set and to recover cushions on our existing chaise lounge chairs. We'd shopped around a bit and couldn't find anything we really liked. A store down the road had something that was okay, but it felt kind of grandma to me. We walked into Palm Casual and found things we did not see anywhere else. Beautiful sets that suited our style perfectly. We ended up with a gorgeous aluminum table with wicker style chairs and the design help Christa provided on fabrics to go with my other pieces, was phenomenal. To top it all off, I stopped in about 10 days after we placed our order to look at something else and was told my set was in. I joked about delivery the next day and as it turned out the driver was in the showroom. He said "where do you live, I'll deliver it NOW" and he did! I was flabbergasted. Such a wonderful and unexpected surprise.

Finally, on my cushions, they didn't have what I needed as the set is older and I bought it out-of-state, but they provided a referral for a place to remake them for me. Since I was referred from Palm Casual that place gave me a discount and I ended up saving overall about $300 vs. an online provider. Just an unbelievable shopping experience from a family owned and run place that knows how to make you feel like a valued part of the family.
