Marugame Udon — Restaurant in Tamuning Municipality

Good Japanese cuisine served here that is worth a try if you're coming to donki. Condiments and water are self service, do try out the various dipping sauces available for the tempura. I got the Kamaage Udon, which came in a cute bucket-like bowl. Do note that this item takes about 5 minutes to prepare so some waiting is involved. The udon was well cooked and the soup for dipping was tasty. The portion was also pretty big. I also got the Tamagoyaki and Fish Cake Tempura. The tempura here was superb, fried to perfection without an overly thick batter.

Overall, I'd definitely come back to this stall if I'm back at donki as the waiting time is reasonable (no queue when I went on a weekday evening), and the quality of food is...

New store at donki, udons really nice. Got the beef and onsen egg one. Also got a few tempura (potato, kombucha, chicken, chikawa). Chicken and chikawa were over cooked/tough. Maybe there just sitting there too long. Koba ha and potato were fresh and soft inside. There's cups of water by the condiments (dashi, utensils) table.

Good food, the place is clean as well. It just took a while before we were able to place an order due to the kitchen staff making more udon noodles before the cashier can start taking orders from customers.
