Obviously, you came here for a meal. The food is good, but can leave a lot to be desired in some categories. Taste is wonderful. Steak and salmon are well seasoned and cooked to perfection, but any sort of grilled vegetable seems wilted and withered. It's there in spirit to fill your plate, but the embodiment is greatly lacking. Pasta is obviously cooked diligently to come out al dente every time.
To get to the food portion, you have to endure decently long waits compared to other similar restaurants. This can best be suited by exploring the mall in the same complex. The long waits are expected though because it is a new restaurant on Guam.
While you wait, you might get a seat at the bar, but this is also usually quite busy and not suitable for large parties.
The service rate is not the quickest on busy days. The breadsticks that you may have came for will be delivered to almost all tables but yours, multiple times, before they get to you. And the drinks you order take quite a few minutes to finally arrive. Appetizers arrive in a normal timely fashion, followed by the soup/salad, whichever suits your main course.
Now, the salad/soup you waited so long for is fantastic. The main course might be late, but will quickly become the conversation topic and of course hits the right spot, but the side dishes could use some improvement.
Other than the food, the atmosphere is fulfilling. Crowded rooms at almost all times of day, so your personal conversation can be obscured amongst the ambient noise. Reservations can be made ahead of time if you want to minimize the wait time.
Drink options aren't the full range that you'd expect from a bar, but definitely suffice for a restaurant that you can bring your family to.
Meal price may exceed what you think its worth, mainly because of the choice of side dishes. The main courses are perfect, but anything else on the plate, while enjoyable, does not satisfy to the extent of the main course.
Overall a great family choice or a meal with friends, but dint expect any 'fancy...

Appetizers came out very fast, shrimp was great, mushrooms seemed overcooked as cheese was blackened on the edges, artichoke dip also looked to be left in oven for too long but tasted ok.
After we had finished our Appetizers we still did not receive our drinks, it did not arrive till the main coarse arrived. Not even a glass of water while we waited for our food to arrive ๐คฆ๐ฝโโ๏ธ
Ordered: ๐Pepperoni pizza, it was decent but dough was very flimsy and had to roll it in order to eat it. ๐kids spaghetti and meatballs, the meatballs was the only thing that tasted good, sauce tasted like it came from a hunts can and lightly heated. We had to remind the staff after an hour to please deliver his ice cream which came with the meal, very frustrating they forgot. They seemed more focus on closing. ๐wife had the soup and it was quite nice and tasty. ๐I had the tour of Italy and I barely finished it as the lasagna was barely warm, tasteless and seemed like it came out of a Payless frozen food section. The fettuccine sauce was awful, nothing like the other times I have eaten it there. The chicken was super dry and they used the same tasteless sauce on it that they used on my son's spaghetti.
Overall: This is not the same Olive Garden my family and I have loved since it came on the island. The quality of the food, ingredients and care in preparing the meals has taken a serious nose dive. I'll give them a year till I ever come back to see if anything has improved but for now they have lost my business. I understand times are tough in Tumon and tourism but these cuts in quality will definitely hurt their local market in the long-term. I hope they can make changes sooner as we do love...
ย ย ย Read moreThe several times we ate here, the food and service were great. However last night, we left completely disappointed & dissatisfied. When we come here, we order our usual. When we got our food, the food portions were smaller than the several times we ate here. Plus, the food was lacking than compared to before. We asked our server if we could fix the portion for one of our meals. Another person, who was wearing a blue shirt, who we believed to be the manager was completely rude to us when he came to drop of the meal. He asked us if we were the ones who complained about the food portion being small out loud. In those exact words. If a customer is dissatisfied with their meal, you do not go out of your way to embarrass the customer nor speak to them in a condescending manner. Complete lack of hospitality on his part. We were shocked by his lack of etiquette. Because of this interaction, our dining experience immediately became ruined. We donโt know exactly who spoke to us since we didnโt see him again for the rest of the night. But it left us with a bitter distaste that we wonโt be coming...
