Maui Tacos — Restaurant in Tamuning Municipality

TLDR grand opening the food was good, ever since that week the food quality is unsatisfactory.

Grand opening, the owner and head chef for a few of the other restaurants was present and the food was a 5/5. Ever since the first week the portion sizes are laughable and the quality and freshness is poor.

The Cali burrito is 13.99, a little pricey. Opening day the quality and size of the 🌯 was fantastic for the price. Ever since then the cali burrito is a thin pencil excuse for a burrito with no flavor except tortilla. Ehat the heck?! 14 bucks for a burrito make it chipoltle size like you did when the owner was there!

Wiki Wiki tacos are good. They have gotten smaller since opening day.

What really peeved me was the checkout process. Paying with a card, the machine asks if you would like to leave a tip. I selected no. The next screen asks if you would like to leave a tip later? What the heck?! That's weird. Receipt prints out next, and I am told to sign where again for a THIRD time the receipt asks for a tip! This pissed me off. Asking 3 times for a tip?!!! Why would you tip for a normal checkout. Why am I asked three times for a tip?! Fix your food first, make the portions bigger, improve the quality to that of which maui tacos is in Hawaii, owner get this fixed! Your star rating is suffering and these reviews...

This was the second try of redemption for this place. Tried to go in and get lunch prior to going back to work. Well I paid 21.97$ after a 2$ tip, and after 5 people who ordered behind me got their food… I decided to ask where my food was at. Mind you it was only a birria tacos and 1 Jarrito’s Strawberry, and a water for my order. They apparently “lost my ticket” so I asked for a refund. Manager said to just give me cash even though I paid in card and wanted it back on my card. I never asked for cash. Manager should have stepped in rather than shooing me away to shut me up. Piss poor customer service in my opinion and I was leaving hangry at that point. I only got 13$ back… soooo not gonna get the tip back too and shorted me…. Never again going here. I’ll just stick with Caliente’s...

First time eating here, they advertise three meat tacos for 10.49 so inorder them and they then said it's extra for carne asada. Which is not listed in their screen which is false advertising and against the law.

So reluctant, and not feeling like arguing I ordered them and the enchiladas. As soon as I receive my food I walked 10 steps sat down opened it excited and boom hair is in the tacos.

Immediately walked back return them and they were nice enough to refund me my money upon request. They apologized and I said Don't stuff happens. But if your cooks have long hair they should have hair nets to prevent this along with gloves.

Hopefully their pricing discrepancy and sanitary standards change. Will go back if I see this change. Enchiladas were okay and I liked the different...
