The Home Depot — Local services in Tamuning Municipality

I'm giving an extra star for the past experiences when I found what I was looking for and got out with no trouble. The last 2 times have been a different story, however.

First, a minor annoyance. They are not in line with Home Depot's usual pet policy. They do not allow pets in the store, a rule that, until recently, has not been enforced here. I was turned away at the door with my dog and given the "can't you read the signs?" treatment by the associate at the door.

Most recently, I was looking for some building materials, and the associates were scarce to say the least. After a searcg, the first two seemed to both want to avoid helping me, and when one finally did, he did not listen to my request and took me to the wrong item. I gave up and found a second person to help, but he didn't understand my request and took me to a third person. This associate had a waiting list, and she worked in appliances, not the department I was shopping in. Albeit confused as to why they sent me to her, she was very helpful in trying to resolve my issue. A bright spot in the visit.

During this same visit, I needed to make a couple of cuts to a board I was using for a shelf. 3 calls were made over the loudspeaker, but I still waited nearly a half hour before anyone showed up to assist. Two cuts in a 1x4" board took another 5-10 minutes, but I finally made it out alive.

I've come to expect a level of "relaxed" customer service on Guam, but the lack of professionalism, knowledge, and desire to help was below my expectations, and well below the level I've come to expect from Home Depot.

I hope this was an anomaly, but I will be avoiding the location...

Home Depot is awesome! They are such a great amount of superior to Walmart. I purchased numerous warmers from HD. They were over $30 not exactly Walmart. They were transported to me in two days. Walmart would send them to me in eight days. HD gave me a $50 markdown for applying for their charge card. Walmart would not give a rebate and numerous different issues with their Visa. I reached Walmart about numerous issues. Their CS needed a connect to show what I was discussing. I sent him six connections with the entirety of the particulars. I have not heard back from Walmart from that point forward. Walmart realizes that I am correct, Home Depot is so much better! Additionally, when I called HD with an inquiry, they were snappy, proficient and exceptionally decent. I have shopped at Home Depot for a considerable length of time. Home Depot is our biggest and best hardware store on Guam. You can rent different types of equipment for your home renovation or maintenance needs. I always buy paints and roof coating material there because quality and brand of interior to exterior paints is excellent and trustworthy. There many selections of appliances, light fixtures, tiles are appropriate to fit an individuals budget. If your and outdoor person they have good quality lawn and patio furniture and good selection of plants and flowers to brighten and decorate your yard. In protecting and securing your well invested home property you can also purchase chain link materials to mark and build your own fence buy and install your typhoon shutters.
