I’ve been to this bar two Saturdays in a row because I wanted to give it a fair shot before leaving a review. The bartender from Jamaica is absolutely amazing. She’s attentive, welcoming, and always smiling. She checks in regularly to make sure you have everything you need and brings the kind of positive energy you want in a neighborhood spot. She’s a perfect fit for a local community bar.

On the other hand, the other bartender (I didn’t catch either of their names, unfortunately. She was the white bartender on both visits) came off as very rude and unwelcoming. She didn’t seem to enjoy being there and gave off an attitude that made the atmosphere uncomfortable. Honestly, if someone doesn’t want to be in customer service, they should probably consider a different role or some retraining.

Drinks from the friendly bartender were solid, well made, and fairly priced compared to similar spots in the area.

My suggestion to the owner is to keep the good vibes going with staff who genuinely want to be there. Especially on busier nights like Fridays and Saturdays, your staff makes or breaks the experience. The wrong attitude can turn...

We visited for the first time last night and it won't be the last! We came in with a group of 10 and they were EXTREMELY accommodating to make sure we all had a place to sit and even gave us our own private section to enjoy. They pulled out all the stops to ensure we were comfortable and happy and well taken care of. We didn't have any food but all had a couple of drinks. Love Lizzie!! Was my 3rd time there and she’s always great, she made the best blueberry lemondrop martini I’ve ever had! Food is great too. Great late night spot on the weekend to get drinks with a live DJ. Vibes are always on point. And if you’re hungry after having a couple drinks, there’s late night food!
