Whittenton House of Pizza — Restaurant in Taunton

I went there for a pick up I called in after 8 pm.... (as noted here they DO NOT deliver which I s fine with me) ... I picked up about ¼ of 9... no problem... they are nice on the phone and the food was really good!

My only issue is that a person came in just after me and they would not serve him. Owner said "we are closed and shut the light off.... That is rude! All these restaurants whining about " ohh Covid tough times we are struggling! " They were scrubbing grills and closing up to WALK OUT THE DOOR AT 9:00 pm or before even maybe. The guy said " can't I get anything, a salad maybe? "

Hey look... close whenever you want, it's your business but (and this goes to many places) .....if your hours are posted till 9 BE OPEN till 9! ... if it said on their website last order at 8:15 8:30 I would have NO problem with it at all! ... looking at customer in the eye and shutting the lights off right in front of him was really poor business practice, unacceptable in my opinion.

My experience was horrible my son went out and bought us a pizza for dinner he works hard for his money when he got the pizza home we all sat down to eat it was a piece of hair in my slice wrapped in the cheese when I pull the hair out it’s still a cheese around it so my son called and they said bring it in when he brought it in they told him was his hair they threw the hair back in the box and they sent him away so when I called the owner was very disrespectful insisting that it wasn’t his hair because he has short hair regardless of who’s here it was it came from that restaurant and they should’ve honored my son they should’ve gave him a gift card his money back another pizza anything what they did they were completely wrong and I recommend highly not going there we will not be...

For Years I have enjoyed Whittenton house of pizza. The food is overall solid food. I don't know what's happened but the past year or so things have just gone to absolute hell. The food is fine when they get it right, but when they don't there is no accountability. I ordered a pizza LAST NIGHT from them. Repeated my order MULTIPLE times and it was wrong, no big deal. To call back and be told basically bring it tonight and we will remake it or they can take care of it another day, also not a problem. HOWEVER to call back to get the pizza replaced like promised only to be told I would receive a DISCOUNT of 5 dollars off my pizza is egregious. Keep your greed, you lost out on ALOT of business from my business for not being remotely understanding of YOUR mistake....
