Poppy's Ice Cream and Pop Shop — Restaurant in Tavares

Took my daughter to Poppy's for some ice cream. Just a fantastic little ice cream shop! Lots of delicous flavors to choose from. Then lots of topping options to add. Don't forget about cake cone, waffle cone or cup. The even had a very small size (which was perfect).

My little one got a cake cone with 2 scoops, one superman and one cookie monster. We also got a cup of Sea Salt Carmel Swirl.both super delicious 😋.

Staff was very friendly. Greeted us with a friendly hello & smile, as we entered. Helpful. And thanked us for coming, as we left.

Inside has very fun decor. Nicely decorated with a modern yet old timey parlor, with added touch of carousel horses. We sat inside the hot air balloon booth!!

Definitely recommend making a stop at Poppy's. We will return again...

We were ignored by the 2 girls behind the counter standing 2’ in front of us, then we placed a simple order ,( 2 medium ice cream cups) after 10 minutes we asked if we were getting our ice cream, she said “yes, I was just cleaning up” if we didn’t speak up we probably would have gotten our order once they got around to it. They were both 20 or under, these new generations of kids are pathetic, zero social skills, zero work ethic, zero...

The best!! My family and I came here for some ice cream. And it did not disappoint! This is definitely a must try if you haven’t been. The shop itself is really interesting and fun, my kids LOVED it. The girl that made our ice cream was so friendly and sweet. I got the bubble waffle banana one, and it’s my new favorite treat. I can’t wait to go back and try the coffee shake. This is a new weekly spot for me...
