this is the best place for ice cream in town...their ice cream compare to Haagen dazs and the clerk was so nice n very polite to me every time i go there with my boyfrnd and our kids and the place is very clean all the time, they have amazing flavors and very reasonable prices. i never really review businesses but i always have such an amazing time every time we go to Tavares Ice Cream that i decided to take the time out to write a review. i read the review from samantha green and she seems like a very jealous bipolar nightmare of a customer. this lady and smtimes david has been so polite n very respectful to me and my family everytime we go there for the past year or so. the clerk has never flirted with my boyfrnd even when he goes there alone and they definitely dont have any bugs because im a neat freak and i keep an eye on how places are run before i make a purchase . also i asked the clerk about their inspections and she showed me proof of their very high grade. she probably has Tavares ice cream missed up with smwhere else because ive been going there for a year and havent seen any evidence of what she said in her review. just go there and make the judgment call...

Been coming here for years. I was advised by the clerk (Allie), that I was no longer allowed to do business because of a poor review she received over 5 years ago. NOT EVEN made by me. I wish she would have told me this before I paid for my ice-cream. I guess poor reviews made by others get you banded. I have been in the F&B business over 30 years and have never banded anyone for a poor review. Quite the opposite, we resolve and welcome the opportunity to turn it around. One of the only places if not THE only place around that I know of that has dairy free milk and ice cream (MILKSHAKES 🥰) usually in stock and for that I'm so grateful!! Always greeted with a smile too which you don't always get at big chain places. They usually only have one flavor of non dairy ice cream and 1 variety of dairy free milk just a heads up, but for me that isn't a deal breaker because I'm just happy to be able to support a local business and still be able to enjoy a sweet little dairy free treat. They also have a large variety of toppings/add ins, I ALWAYS get some oreos in the shake. It's the little things!! Can't wait to see what next months dairy free ice cream flavor will be.
