La Jali — Restaurant in Taylor

Went in just for take out, and for a menu since we stopped by a week prior and they had none, they ask my husband to just take a picture of their menu. So today I stopped to get some flour chips, hot sauce, guacamole, corn chips. The hostess didn't know what flour chips were, she asked 2 people before she got an answer, no only corn chips. So I got the hot sauce, and was asked what kind of hot sauce, and once that was straightened out she explained chips come with it. So I got the guacamole and paid the bill of $28.00 (rounded off) So a large Hot sauce, sm chip, large guacamole costs that much. But the chips were supposed to be included, but $ 15.00 for a large guacamole, I'll tell you what, the menu only says $10.00 Either way, we will never return their prices are outrageous, and the sauces, just as the reviews, no flavor. I really don't foresee this restaurant lasting, especially by the reviews. i know we'll never be back and we will spread the word among our family...

I have been to Lajali 4 times now and they have only been open for a week. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff that makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend the carne asada tacos quesadilla and the trio fajitas all were incredibly flavorful and perfectly seasoned. We stopped in for dinner tonight and WOW!! What a pleasant surprise from the previous place! I learned their main restaurant is in Mexican Town so the menu is limited, but we were not disappointed! From the service to the food, all was excellent! We got a sampling of various salsas which all were delicious! The Pork Belly appetizer was to die for!
