Toarmina's Pizza — Restaurant in Taylor

Interesting situation. We ordered 2 pizzas.

Must have been made by 2 different people. I would have sworn they came from 2 different places. One was pretty good, crust was well formed and toppings fresh and evenly distributed.

The other may as well been a Rotten and Ready. Sparse toppings, flat crust like a frozen pizza and virtually no sauce.

I wish I was coming back to raise to a 5 star instead of drop to a 3 star.

We tried again on November 24th. 2 against 1 in the house picked Toarmina. It takes an hour in our house to pick where to order from once we decide on pizza, because no place is consistent anymor and everyone likes a different place.

2 Large pizzas. What flavor crust would you like? DON'T ASK ME IF YOU'RE GOING TO GIVE ME A DRY FLAVORLESS CRUST!

One pizza maybe had a tablespoon of sauce. The other was okay.

Guess I have bad luck with pizza. Next time the family picks this place I'll throw a Red Baron in the oven. At least for $5 I get what I expect, vs spending $26 and not getting what I asked for...GARLIC BUTTER CRUST.

Sure, they offer a guarantee. That does me no good when I'm hungry when I order. Not goin to wait...

Literally only giving 2 stars because the gentleman who took my order was super polite . Let me start off by saying I worked for a Toarminas for almost a year so I know what's expected! Both times that I've ordered, my cheese bread has been OVER COOKED. Today when I ordered, my deep dish was FLAT, which flat deep dish comes from expired dough. While being flat, it was also UNDER COOKED. So much so the toppings fell off and it was so doughy and rubbery they weren't able to cut thru the pizza. There weren't pepperoni on each piece like there should have been . They stuck the ranch cup ON my cheese bread which is a huge NO NO considering gloved hands don't touch that and things touched with bare hands should never touch ready to eat food . Now let's get to the driver . I had to run and get him an extra dollar (my fault here) cause I wanted to make sure he still had a tip and I had heard the total wrong . When I come back and he hands me my change he tells me to have a good day and proceeds to turn to leave off my porch . I tell him he still has my food and he goes "long day , well, slow day" I' didn't even call to complain because I'm not sure I wanna try...

I ordered a "Super" Sub and while I did wait the 10-15 minutes for it, which I expected I seen a few issues. First off the Employees don't wear any gloves, and while sure they said 'they wash their hands frequently." The fact that I was in there for 20 minutes and not seen anyone wash their hands, while handling about 6 different pizza's makes me skeptical. Now for the taste of the "Super" Sub. I have to be honest I had better subs from basically everywhere. You could only taste the meat and bread which was a bland experience. Couldn't taste the pizza sauce, and the toppings were only on one side, so you had to separate the toppings your self. The bread was somewhat burnt on the end, I don't have a camera or I would show it. So all in all, worst sub and probably worst hygiene I can expect from a pizza place. I will not be ordering from there again, since I for one don't like any sweat to enter my pizza dough,, or hair as they don't wear hair nets.
