man where do i even start with this restaurant —the only thing faster than the staff’s attempts to rush you through your order is the speed at which your appetite dies. despite the fact that the place was almost empty, the employees were practically standing over us like we were holding up a line that didn’t exist.
as for the food? oh boy. the baklava had none of that delicate, flaky, buttery magic—just a sad little square, with hopes of being an actual dessert.
the shawarma was another letdown. the pita was tough as an old sneaker and completely drowned in sauce. the chicken? well, it was cold, dry, and as flavorful as the box it was served in. how you manage to make something covered on sauce, dry, is absolutely beyond me. i’ve had more seasoned food from a plain bagel.
the fries? surprisingly the highlight. but let’s be fr, even the worst fast food joint can throw some decent fries in a bag.
the sauce? eh, it was there. but nothing worth writing home about unless you’re really into bland condiments.
if you like eating food that’s been rushed and a meal that feels like a chore, alhambra’s your place. but if you’re looking for something that’s actually good, i’d say skip it and go somewhere that respects both your time and your taste buds. plenty of actually good middle eastern food in the...
Read moreAlhambra Shawarma was an amazing first time shawarma experience for us.
The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The guy that is working the register was very kind and friendly. He knows how to treat his customers.
The food was so delicious! We ordered the Alhambra box with pitas as a side, a half order of the super fries, and the hummus dipper bowl. Every single thing was fantastic. The meat in both the shawarma wrap and on the fries was on point. It was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and tender. The combination of that meat, the veggies, and those super soft and chewy pits wraps was fantastic. Make sure you get the garlic sauce because it is delicious! The only thing I think needs a little work is the fries. They leave a little bit to be desired. They definitely aren't bad, but I think they need to switch from a crinkle fry to a regular fry.
The portions and price are also great in my opinion. I saw some reviews of people complaining about the price, but if you compare it to a lot of places they give you substantially more food. My wife couldn't even finish the half order of fries and we took home 75% of the pita dipper.
We will definitely be back in the future and I really hope you guys are able to open up...

Outstanding Shawarma and Exceptional Service!
I recently visited Alhambra Shawarma's and was blown away by the quality of both the food and the service. From the moment I stepped in, the inviting aroma of freshly prepared spices set the tone for what was going to be an unforgettable meal.
The shawarma was perfectly seasoned, with tender, juicy meat that was bursting with flavor. The balance of textures—from the crisp vegetables to the warm, soft pita—was spot on. I also tried their garlic sauce, which was creamy, tangy, and complemented the shawarma beautifully.
The portion sizes were generous, and every bite was a delight. The staff was friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure a great dining experience. The restaurant itself was clean, well-organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere.
If you’re a fan of authentic Middle Eastern flavors or just looking for an incredible meal, Shawarma Food is the place to go. It’s a gem I’ll be returning to again and again!
