Pancetta Kitchen & Wine Bar — Restaurant in Teaneck Township

I’m always looking for great spots to eat and you don’t think you’d find one in a hotel. However, I was definitely wrong with this one. I made a reservation online and walked my way over with my family. The restaurant is conveniently located near Hampton, Homewood and inside the Marriott hotel. When you walk into the Marriott Hotel, Pancetta is on your right hand side. It’s impressive when you first walk in like you just walked into a NYC restaurant in Manhattan. Our server Eltra was welcoming, attentive and pleasant all around. The service was great! I know what about the food? They started us off with bread and a side of butter and seasoned oil to dip the bread. My kids ate that all up and asked for more as we waited for our main course. Now for the main courses we ordered kids pizza, chicken tenders with fries, chicken parmigiana, and eggplant parmigiana. I have to say the eggplant parmigiana was the best I have ever had hands down. It had a nice crust to it that added another level of texture to the meal rather than being soggy. The Chef (Miguel) nailed it, I would come back again just to have this dish again. Stayed at the property as a guest this week. I have been to this property for a few times and this is my second time trying and their restaurant. This time I tried the spaghetti and meatballs with a side of Calamari. To begin, I made the order at the restaurant and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I went upstairs to put my belongings down, used the restroom and came back to pick up my order. I stood waiting for my order at the front and they gave me the drink. I ordered while I waited my food. I then proceeded to wait another 20 minutes for my food while my beverage became water down. I asked to add bread to my order In which the host was happy to do. When my order then came out, I requested Parmesan cheese and butter. The whole went to the back to get it. I’m proceeded to take another 10 minutes to bring it out. When she came out, she had the butter and a Parmesan cheese and a Coca-Cola half a drink in her hand. I would appreciate better service, more attentiveness to guess timing, and more accuracy in terms of order production. The calamari is my favorite; it was splendid, just as the first time I had it. Unfortunately, the spaghetti and meatballs were watery. The meatball was too big; they should consider making them smaller. Lastly, the pomegranate mule drink is one of a kind...

Dining at Pancetta inside the Marriott in Teaneck was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for an outstanding experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, stylish, and perfect for either a relaxed lunch or a more upscale dinner.

What truly made the visit unforgettable was the incredible service provided by Monica. She was the highlight of the experience—personable, cheerful, and an absolute delight to be around. Her genuine hospitality and attentiveness made me feel right at home. Monica didn’t just provide service; she elevated the entire dining experience with her friendly conversation and attention to detail. It’s rare to find someone who can be both professional and approachable in the way she was.

As for the food, the Panini I ordered was perfect—crispy on the outside, full of flavor inside, and made with obvious care and quality ingredients. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in what they serve.
