Update 12.10.2019: This location is terrible. This will be my last time going. They literally prepared my banana bread and just put it on the table and didnt say what it was or who it belong to. I had to ask for my order and they said oh this is it. I'm standing here the whole time and everyone else gets their items in their hand and I get mine thrown on the counter. To top it all off, it's been several times of this before today. Not to mention, they always give me cold coffee and I can be the first in line and last to get my latte. Ugh.
I work in one of the adjoining Glenpointe buildings. This is the only Starbucks close enough to just go down the elevator and walk down the hall. Unfortunately the service is slow. There aren't enough employees to service the amount of customers this location is getting on a daily basis. I mean it's in the Marriott ballrooms corridor that leads straight to other plaza business buildings and a gym/spa. My drink is always bland and they always forget my whipped cream. Being understaffed should not be an option for this location, there is thousands of company employees and probably just under 100 companies in the adjoining building, including a gym, hotel, and doctors office. Always only 1 person at the register too and they are always out of the items to make drinks. What makes it even worst is that you can't use your Starbucks rewards here and you don't get any either, however they will take your Starbucks rewards card to pay for your drinks. And to top it all off, they don't take applepay, samsung pay, nothing. Just your debit/credit card, Starbucks Reward card, and cash. I was so disappointed. Time to catch up with the...
Read moreThis is not even a real Starbucks: it’s a franchise owned and operated by the third-rate hotel it’s inside of. The staff are not real Starbucks employees, they are poorly trained hotel staff. This location also uses lower quality ingredients than other Starbucks in order to maximize profits.
The worst part, however, is how ridiculously SLOW they are. You can place a mobile order, show up 10 minutes later to an empty cafe, and see all 3-4 employees standing in a corner chatting and laughing. Then they get started on your order after they see you walk in.
Also, like other reviewers, I have tried to order the lavender foam matcha from this location. They just give you a regular iced matcha and expect you to be fine with the fact that you paid extra money for nothing.
If you think this Starbucks is bad, you should see how they...
Read moreI came to this starbucks almost everyday with my small dog and was treated very poorly each time. My greetings were meet with attitudes or were blatantly ignored. They seemed to think my friendliness was some sort of flirtation with an ulterior motive. They were rude and disrespectful and I won't be back. When I would go I would ask for a cup of water for my dog and I ordered pretty much the same thing every time I went. As a regular they barely acknowledged my orders and never remembered my name. The customer service here is severely lacking to say the least. A few of them were kind but the majority of them were awful. Once again I will not be back. If you are looking for a decent starbucks with kind people who actually remember you and your orders, or who at least answer a "hi, how are you," go to the Starbucks in...
