Seoul Bite — Restaurant in Teaneck Township

The food was delicious.  Was it worth the 30-45 minute wait?  That is the question. I was disappointed to see only 15 -20 seats and was a challenge for a party of 6. We tried to call a few times to see if there were any special or limited holiday hours due to a holiday weekend?  No one answered the phone.  The limited AI response directed me to the website.  Website was not helpful for holiday info. We got there, waited for a table, then waited in a line that went out the door, ordered what we wanted.  Then the food came in parts - the main delivered first followed by some sides. They forgot about our soup that we had to ask for.   Restaurant was busiest on the block. Gross 🤮 I went here for the first time two days ago, and it was an awful experience. The place was filthy. The guy in the front who was taking orders clearly needed help. He wore the same gloves for the entire 30 minutes I waited for my food. During that time, I watched him handle customers’ food bags, pick up the trash can with the same gloves, and then immediately touch someone’s order. My partner had to ask him to change gloves, it was that bad.

The food itself was just as disappointing. It wasn’t tasty, smelled unpleasant, and was falling out of the boxes. I ended up throwing some of it away. Even the ketchup tasted off more like vinegar than ketchup.

Overall, a completely gross and unsanitary experience. Definitely not a place I’d recommend. Waste of...

I was really excited about this place because I’ve always wanted to try Korean food but there’s never been a kosher place. I drove in for an hour and a half to try the food. I waited over an hour before I got my food and they were out of most of the ingredients so the food wasn’t as described. They also made things out of order so half was cold. It’s a very small store and they weren’t prepared to have so many orders. They were kind and hard working but they need a more efficient system. The people who didn’t remind them about their food were forgotten and they had to reprint the ticket.
