Embers Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Tecumseh

I grew up in Tecumseh moved away, came back to town for the day and decided to stop for lunch due to all the fabulous pictures other people have posted. The beer was served in frozen mugs and it was so good and cold. One waitress was manning the bar and tables and she was amazing and crazy fast. It’s definitely a Townie place with regulars but we didn’t feel unwelcome. We got the Emberger and the Club Sandwixh. Both very good. A special on the board was Boomer Fries and we had to try them. The cheese blend with the sour cream on the side damn near brought a tear to my eye. For sure the closest to the real thing I’ve been chasing for so long. If your Boomer Cheese Fries order didn’t include onions maybe ask for them without but they were so good. Not sure if that’s a regular item or just for the week but they were so good.

They were a bit busy Saturday afternoon could have used a little help. One wonderful young lady running the whole dining room. Korey was her name very polite and friendly . Welcoming. But in enters Tracy , My goodness that is when rude walked in the door. A disabled kid was selling candy for special needs events and she told him to leave, he wasn't bugging or disrupting any one. It was unnecessary and uncalled for . That's when we decided to take are business else where. We will be back , but we will be calling ahead of time to make sure she is NOT there. We arrived and this place was very busy!!! So busy that no one could get us a seat- even though we tried to make reservations ahead of time. We were told that it’s a hit or miss on how busy they can get on a Saturday. I ordered my food first out of a party of 7. I received my food last(photo below) and it wasn’t even what I ordered- so.... I have to wait another hour for them to make my actual order placed 2 hours ago. Ps- I’m no longer hungry.
