On a whim. I decided to give this place a try. Looked at all the reviews, the pics, etc. When I first walked in, I couldn't help but notice how clean and quiet it was. Despite 8-10 tables being used, there was hardly any commotion at all. Sydni, the waitress, politely told me to sit any where I liked. Despite being the only one servicing the tables, she was quick to bring me my first drink. By the time she came back, and since I had heard rave reviews, my order was simple: large cheese and 6 spicy bbq wings. Wings came out first and were not exactly my cup of tea. I prefer crispy wings as opposed to wings simply dipped in sauce. The sauce itself wasn't spectacular. Next came the pie. Presentation wise, it looked perfect. Just like it did on the website reviews. The crust, my favorite part of any pizza, was perfect. Pizza wasn't flimsy at all. Taste wise though, even with crushed red pepper, it seemed to be missing something. Overall it was nice place. Very friendly staff and patrons. I'll be back I'm sure. Wife and kids loved...
Read moreI'm not sure what has changed, but I have had three bad experiences in a row after 31 years of none.
First, we were in a bind and needed our food delivered, so we ordered through DoorDash. The bill for three pizzas was over $100. I called and was told that their prices on DoorDash are incorrect and need to be updated. They admitted their mistake but did not offer any type of compensation.
Second, we ordered a pizza, which was extremely salty.
Third, we called in and placed an order using the online menu linked to their Google Business listing. The bill was much higher than expected. We paid around $25 after tax and tip for a chicken steak stromboli that is listed for $15. My friend, who did the ordering, stopped in the store on his way home and was told the prices had gone up. Again, no type of compensation was offered. And the online menu still shows the $15 price even though Google displays that the menu was updated a day ago.
We are going to explore...
Read moreTheir pizza (and curly fries) are delicious, but I wish they would modernize their business practices a tiny bit. They don't have call waiting so if you try and order on a Friday night prepare to call an average of 5 to 15 times to finally get through, and they don't allow online ordering which is inconvenient in an increasingly digital world.
We've tried other things like cheesesteaks and an Italian hoagie and they were nothing special. The cheesesteak didn't have enough meat or cheese and it wasn't on a crusty roll, so it was just a steamy mess. And for the Italian hoagies, the meats they used didn't taste like anything, they hadn't evenly distributed the meat so it was hard to cut it in half to share, and again the roll wasn't crusty. But I will persevere and keep calling nearly weekly to get their...
