l ve been a loyal Starbucks customer for decades, visiting almost daily since the early 2000s. Iāve spent more money here than I probably should, regularly loading gift cards through the app and supporting the brand because I genuinely love the experience.
I completely understand that times have changed and Starbucks canāt operate as the āthird placeā it once aspired to be. I also understand needing to limit bathroom access to paying customers. But this recent experience left me disappointed.
I walked into this location planning to use the bathroom first, then order. As I headed toward the restroom, an employee stopped me with, āCan I help you?ā I politely said no, assuming it was just a friendly greeting. As I walked away, she called after me asking if I had a mobile order. When I said no, she told me I couldnāt use the restroom unless I ordered first. I explained I was planning to order right after.
The interaction felt unnecessarily aggressive and accusatory, and it made me uncomfortable. After I came out of the restroom, it seemed like the employee was watching me and appeared tense until I got in line to place my orderāat which point she seemed to relax and was much more friendly and helpful.
As someone who often places mobile orders and uses the restroom while waiting, this experience has me questioning whether Iāll feel welcome doing so in the future. I completely respect the need for policies, but there must be a better way to enforce them without making loyal customers feel alienated or scrutinized.
Iām sharing this because I truly love Starbucks and want it to remain a place where regulars feel at ease,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen your paying for your beverage, it should come properly crafted. Obviously every coffee company has a standard beverage recipe, especially this corporate company. The barista who was on bar at 4:15 am, not TORI who was the person at DTO and DTW, was unwilling to make the beverage I ordered in the customized way it was ordered. A venti chocolate cream cold foam cold brew with no ice, extra chocolate cream cold foam. There are pictures of my drink below that I sipped out of plus you know the foam separates after sitting. Tell me why this barista decided she doesn't want to do her job. I don't know but there are plenty of young women like you who actually want to go to work and do their job. Go be a hostess somewhere if you dislike making drinks or getting up so early š worst customer service ever in a Starbucks, and I have been a customer since 2005. Shame on you wearing that green apron representing a company you obviously aren't willing to work for. By the way, I didn't ask for more cold brew. That first sip feeling, when you have to work and go to school but your coffee tastes bad. Plus you are a parent and coffee is just one thing you get to have for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis location deserves five stars! This is based on all of my experiences here since they opened. Every barista has been excellent, but Alyssa is the brightest GEM at this Starbucks.
She's helped me a few times and has to deal with my very complicated orders with extra almond or coconut milk and hold the this-or-that. She goes above and beyond in such a sweet and calm manner, it is truly a pleasure to stop at this Starbucks thanks to her excellent customer service! I hope she stays here for a while, although I'm sure she's destined for greatness!
It is located right off the 15 freeway on the very South end of town off Temecula Parkway 79 South, next to LA Fitness and the new Chevron. The drive-thru is quick and easy to get into and out of. They really engineered this layout well. They have plenty of seating indoors and a large patio outdoors that is shared with Pizza Press, with lots of parking.
This is by far my favorite Starbucks! Far easier to find and get your coffee quicker than the one down the street or the Winchester location. Last one on your way to San Diego and first one on your way into Temecula Valley.
Thanks Alyssa and...
