Yum Cha Spot — Restaurant in Temecula

Location is convenient because it’s located right next to the 15 fwy entrance/exit off of Temecula pkwy. It’s hidden behind the Starbucks in the shopping center right next to the fwy entrance/exit. You’ll see a Chevron gas station and LA fitness. That’s where you turn in. If it wasn’t for Yelp, I wouldn’t have even known it was there. Now that I know, I’m definitely stopping!

I pulled in and had no issue with finding parking. When I entered the store it was clean and I was immediately helped by Lily. She was so nice and helpful. She had samples of their pumpkin spice drink and mochi boba that I got to try.

As I was browsing their menu of drinks. I couldn’t help my excitement as I found more and more drinks I wanted to try. I decided to go with their yum cha signature drink the pandan drip which is pandan flavor with Vietnamese coffee. I also ordered their pandan jade which is pandan with matcha. Both are really good. You are able to customize your drinks as they have many options. I ordered a pandan milk tea and was going to go with jasmine tea. Lily offered a sample of their oolong rose tea which tastes like rose if you are into floral teas. I ended up going with a green tea as I thought it would be more neutral so that the pandan flavor could stand out more. I like that their drinks are not too sweet. Lily asked me if I wanted any toppings like honey boba or golden boba. I had never heard of golden boba before so she offered samples of it. As soon as I tasted golden boba I was like wow yes put that in my drink. Even my son said he liked the boba and that it tasted really good.

I saw their advertisement for black sesame series. Lily of course offered me a sample of the black sesame foam to help me decide if I wanted it with the coffee or matcha. I ended up going with the matcha which it was good. But I would like to try it with the coffee next time. I’d like to see a black sesame drink instead of just the foam cause I would love to try it. I ordered a taro blended bliss and cookies and cream blended bliss for my other two boys. They both really enjoyed their drinks.

I can’t recommend this place enough! It’s convenient location, you can order online or in person with someone or order at their self order kiosk on the wall, the service is great and they have a large selection of drinks and toppings! I love that they have flavors that are not just the standard typical flavors. So excited to have Yum Cha in Temecula and can’t wait...

I rarely write reviews. My daughter and I get boba once a week, at least, in the area. Stopped today after picking her up from school and my classic milk tea was the best I’ve ever had. I opt for almond milk and less sweet, too (try to cut calories and lactose just because I need to save space for the boba!) and while usually watered down tasting, this was anything but! Super friendly staff! Delicious drinks! Super cute/clean shop. We got the green tea Thai, rose milk tea, and a strawberry milk smoothie for my daughter. They offer the drinks in these fun glass bottles. Best boba place we have been to in a long time. We are from San Diego but we will definitely stop here anytime we are in Temecula....
