I have never had such a terrible experience at this location. The person taking my order would not allow me to speak without her cutting me off each time. When I finally made it to the window, she had a nasty look on her face. She repeated my order to me in a confusing way. I'm guessing the manager is the guy that went over it to ensure that I was charged correctly because the price was higher than I normally pay. I take my children to this location at least twice a week. That young lady disappeared and some rude disrespectful women appears. She threw my drinks in my hand spilling the whipped cream that was poorly added to my blizzard. They put a bent up lip on my cup that had a mountain of whipped cream making a mess. I asked for the tower lid, no response, the lady grabbed it and gave it to me with her back turned. This same lady comes back with our food and throws the bag in my hand and slams the window. I yelled, "you're rude and disrespectful. She hit the window and asked me what I said in which I repeated. Instead of apologizing, she said ok, ok, ok, rolled her eyes and slammed the window again. I've called corporate. She should be fired! The only staff member that wasn't rude or unprofessional was the guy in the gray shirt. I did not receive my receipt either being that there is a survey on the bottom about my experience. Our drinks taste funny so they're going in the trash. Not quite sure what was done to them!! Lastly, one of our sundaes was thrown in the bag with the hot food...
Read moreNEW EDIT AS OF APRIL 2025: As you can see (original review below) previously we loved this place. Too many changes have occurred and I no longer recommend this restaurant. The staff could care less, the managers are non existent or don't know what they are doing. We ordered a cake for my birthday and after several days of excuses got the cake the day AFTER my birthday and didn't even get the cake we ordered. Gave us this crappy oreo blizzard cake which sucked and had all kinds of crap on top of it. It had a ton of sprinkles. I absolutely hate sprinkles. I don't like them in cake. I don't like them in ice cream. So of course this one was absolutely covered in them. My husband was basically told this cake or nothing and they refused to refund our money. We ordered the original for a reason. It's the one and only thing I ask for on my birthday every year and we had to take the disappointing oreo blizzard cake. And I didn't have a cake at all on my actual birthday because they kept making excuses and refusing to give us the cake we purchased. My husband had to go to the store 3 times to get any cake at all. I sat there choking down the cake and hatint every bite. I told my husband from now on just make me a sad boxed cake from the grocery store, at least I'll get the flavor I want. I will miss the DQ ice cream cake, it was my favorite.
Previois review: "We love this DQ. The staff are always friendly and amazing. The food is good. It's like visiting...
Read moreThe renovation of this Dairy Queen has left me feeling a bit chilled, pun intended. While I appreciate the effort to update the location, the new design is soulless and corporate, a far cry from the charming retro vibe it once had.
Before the renovation, this Dairy Queen was one of the last remaining Brazier Dairy Queens, known for its unique branding and nostalgic atmosphere. The Brazier Dairy Queens were a treasure trove of Americana, with their iconic red and white striped awnings, vintage signage, and classic menu items. The new design, however, has erased all traces of this history.
The boring and antiseptic corporate branding that now dominates the Dairy Queen chain has replaced the warmth and character that once defined these locations. The loss of the Brazier branding is a significant blow to those who appreciate the rich history and heritage of America's iconic diners and ice cream shops.
While I understand the desire to modernize, I hope that future renovations will strike a better balance between preserving the charm of the past and embracing the future. This branch could have been a shining example of how to revitalize a classic location without sacrificing its soul. Unfortunately, it has become just another faceless...
