I walked in there a couple of days ago for the first time. I ordered a ground beef kabob and a chicken kabob wrap along with a a side of fries and a side of hummos. Total price was $38. Severely overpriced and the price at the register conflicted with the prices on the menu on the wall(menu prices were cheaper). When I asked the cashier about that he nervously stated that the menu pricing was incorrect and needed to be changed. Now mind you this place just opened up recently and they're already toying with prices. Not everyone is oblivious to your tactics, guys.Thats very bad business practice. I may have to have someone go in there and record what's happening and post on social media but ill trust that you'll read this post and correct what's wrong. They charged 7.49 for a very small side of hummos. The listed price is 4.49 or 4.99. Fries and at least one of the wraps are also priced one way yet I was charged a higher price at the register. As for the food itself, the ground beef was pretty tasty. Good toppings. The hummos was pretty good but there's zero justification in the pricing. The chicken wrap was decent but honestly it doesn't taste any different then all the other chicken shawarmas I've had in middle eastern restaurants. The difference was in the garlic sauce they use. The restaurant is small, not ideal for families. It is very clean though. I may go back to see if they correct the pricing. If they don't then that'll be the last they see of me and I'll be sure to spread the word. Very disappointed in that regard but the food was OK overall. But the prices...thats not a place I could frequent ,unfortunately. Do the right...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would. The owner lacks customer service and professionalism. He does not follow the prices on the website. The first time we ordered 2 family meals was 3 months ago. When we picked up at the store he raised the price to $15 more than the price online. When we asked him how come he said he forgot to update the prices online and was very rude and we ended up paying the extra $15. He didn’t even apologize and I still took the order. Today I wanted to give them another try and it was only because the store I usually go to is closed on Monday. I called to put in a large order and when I came to confirm the price, I was told that the prices are different than what’s online and same story the owner forgot to update prices again lol I told him to let the owner know that this is wrong and that it’s been 3 months and the prices have not changed. I expected to be given the price online as displayed but the owner refused to give me the price and wanted to raise it on me. I made it clear that he’s lost many customers. ...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Abu Omar Halal, and I must say, their shawarma is nothing short of excellent. From the moment I took my first bite, it was clear that this was no ordinary shawarma. The meat was incredibly fresh, tender, and bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The combination of spices and the quality of the ingredients made for a truly delightful experience.
The pita was warm and soft, providing the ideal vessel for the succulent meat and fresh vegetables. The sauces were just right, adding a delicious creaminess without overpowering the other flavors. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, making it clear that a lot of care and attention goes into their food preparation.
Overall, Abu Omar Halal offers a fantastic shawarma that stands out for its freshness and deliciousness. It's a must-try for anyone looking to enjoy an authentic and mouth-watering meal. I will definitely be returning to savor their other offerings. Highly...
