I will NEVER I MEAN NEVER order anything from these ppl again. They gave us a completely different cake than what we order. We paid $90 for a ½ sheet Call of duty regular birthday cake with butter cream icing on 1/13/24 for 1/14/24 instead they gave us a Tres Leche cake that tasted like it was made with a gallon of spoiled evaporated milk. My sons whole birthday was ruined ppl were laughing about the cake nobody ate it they threw it in the trash. I tried to call the bakery immediately but they were already closed. When I called the next day to ask if we could get at least half of our money back and they can have the rest of the cake so they can see that it taste spoiled the man got upset & was very rude & said they can't help us they can only offer us $10 & free balloons for the mistake they made. Ummm the party is over we had our own damn balloons didn't want anything free just wanted La Familia Bakery to do what's right for their mistake but they wouldn't help us at all infact the man I spoke with refused to give me his name & hung up in my face! So save yourselves a headache and don't order from LA FAMILIA BAKERY. They do not believe in doing what is right for their customers or give a refund when one is due! I'll stick with Publix at least they'll give you a refund or another cake if they mess it up. These...
Read moreWhen we entered, the place was very dirty. Pastries underneath things, dirt everywhere, I was actually able to slide both my feet all over the ground. In corners there were dirty bags and such, however, the experience got worse when we tasted the food. The tamales are alright, but lacked moisture or even a sauce, and tasted like they had been in there all day. The breakfast sandwich tasted like it had old bread because when it was toasted, I had to fight my way through each bite. The worst part came however when we had a sugar cookie. The cookie itself was fine, but hairs were baked into the cookie. A lack of care or respect for cleanliness made us feel sick to our stomachs, very disappointing. To add insult to injury, there was basically no filling in the Guava pastry we ordered. The front desk worker didn't really seem like she knew what she was doing, as she just looked at me confused when I asked her things, Spanish or English. Would not recommend, maybe the bread is as good as people say, but I'll go elsewhere for the...
Read moreI usually stop by this bakery for their fresh bread, which is always delicious. This year, I ordered a custom cake from here for a bday celebration, and it was a success!
The design was perfect (my kids chose the toppers, and they fit the themes perfectly).
The mocha flavor was a big hit with the kids, and everyone at the party complimented both the taste and the beautiful decoration. I couldn’t have been happier with how it turned out.
If you speak Spanish, communication will be easier, as the family who runs the bakery is friendly and welcoming.
They are hardworking & talented bakers who provide their best work to the clients. Highly recommend this bakery!
Note: I had the bday celebration at a park, so I didn't had a refrigerator for the Tres Leches (milk). Therefore, we had to cut it quickly, while...
