Twisted Rolls Chimney Cakes — Restaurant in Temple Terrace

This was our first time visiting Twisted Rolls. It was late and we wanted something sweet so we gave it a try. It is a small trailer but it was big on taste. A chimney cake is like a dough that gets rolled into a cone shape, baked, then filled with ice cream and then your favorite toppings added. I've never had anything like it, it was good! I had the Oreo version. We also ordered the pistachio waffles, half order. The waffles were amazing and the flavoring was very good. One thing I loved, they give you a spoon and fork, but also plastic gloves. You can just pick it up and eat, no need to worry about getting your hands covered in goodness. Saw this on IG and has to try it. Got the Coconut one and the pistachio one. The pistachio was more subtle in flavor but yummy. I'm a coconut fan so I thought mine was delicious. So we were told to eat the ice cream part first then put on the gloves to get at the chimney roll portion. The rolls were covered with toppings. My wife has been waiting try this delicious ice cream for months. We weren’t disappointed at all. The chimney cakes were so unique and very tasty. 9 unique cones and chimney cakes to pick from, delicious shakes and a friendly family staff.
