Let me start by saying this review is going to come off as me being a Karen. If you look at all my reviews, I give honest reviews per the establishment visited.
It is a shame that the customer service will be the reason this location loses my business. The older woman with a shaved head and grey hair is exponentially rude.
My kids had promotion coupons from school for a free mini that they got for valentine's day, she looked at it and told me it expired on the 15th and when I said no ma'am it expires 4/25 she proceeded to tell me I was wrong which led to the other employee intervening and correcting her. She never apologized.
Every time my kids asked for a sample(which they offered at no cost) and they only asked for 2 samples, they came with an eye roll. Then when she couldn't get the lid on the togo item she threw the lid in the trash and it landed in the floor followed by her kicking it like a child and then talking trash about the company not using the same company for the lids and cups causing poor fit. Very, very unprofessional after working customer service for over 20 years myself. When I asked for a cup of water or just plain ice, she eye rolled again and stated no and pointed me to a water fountain on the wall, and did not offer a cup. What am I supposed to do, Stick my head under the fixture?
Every time we go to this location, they are rude. The other times, I just chalked it up to being busy. Every time, they had a line to the door, so grace was given. This time, not a soul was in the store, no line, just my kids and myself. We will not be returning, and that is very unfortunate because lemon Italian ice is my favorite, and they make an incredible one!!
☆☆☆☆☆Now past the customer service to the product.... The ice cream, gelato, and italian ice are all out of this world. Always fresh and frozen and have never been told something was unavailable. ☆☆☆☆☆ So, 5 stars for the product itself!!
Customer service will make or break a place. And this one is lacking severely! She also failed to ask me if I was a rewards member, so I lost points as well.

I did not realize with tipping being optional so was the customer service 😬 from the first woman and also the blonde girl who came after her. Do they only get paid $2 an hour here and rely on tips to make up for their income? Customer service was terrible after not adding a tip. At $24 for ice cream I figured I had paid enough already. I really should have went somewhere else. I would understand if they were being paid $2 and hour it doesn't make sense to base your customer service on tipping. I was treating my children after a good week at school. The customer service did ruin the experience. Maybe retrain your staff? Or hire new staff that will actually take pride in customer service and will treat everyone equally with a decent attitude and not a ugly one because you do not get your tip? Make it a requirement then and...
Read moreEnjoy going here once in a while, especially with the convenience of the drive-thru. Staff is very friendly. Only thing is they’re kind of rushing, even when you’re the only car in line. If I get 2 small/medium gelatis or italian ice to-go, they’ll put it in a bag and don’t care if it’s side-ways and hand it to you. Like… I’m bringing the other home to someone. Same if getting the quarts with a small one in a bag, they’ll throw it all in together and don’t care how the small cup will be in the bag with the quarts or that the lid could pop off. Also wish they would get rid of the signature for the receipt req’d cause it’s an additional step that takes a moment then after trying to sanitize my hands from touching the board, pen, then them giving me my card back and they’re already trying to hand me my products.
