We were excited to try this place out from the cute quaint look of the building and the name of the cafe, unfortunately we didn't have the best experience. The food is good but be prepared to wait an hour to eat. We came here and got the last table. The waitress took our order, came back about twenty minutes later to let us that they have a small kitchen and only one grill and usually only expect 40 to 60 guests but they've been getting closer to 100 now so it's going to be a little while. Never did she mention how many tables were ahead of us or how our order hadn't even been started. I assumed it wouldn't be too much longer, but I was wrong. After another 30min I walked inside and asked what was taking so long and the other waitress proceeded to argue with me that we hadn't been waiting that long and the kitchen makes one ticket at a time in order (although others received their food before us) and how we were six tables behind when we walked in. So if that's the case then maybe before seating people they should tell people that they are six tables behind and the wait will be an hour and maybe have less tables in the restaurant if their kitchen can't handle that many orders at a time so people aren't mislead and sitting around waiting an hour. We only ordered three menu items and at this point we were all very hungry especially our children. Even though our waitress was sweet and apologetic they never offered to comp one of our meals which would have been the right thing to do. I used to work at a small breakfast cafe with ten tables and if anything came out after 30 minutes we comped someone's meal. I definitely feel this restaurant can use some improvements starting with being honest to guests about the wait time and not argue with customers and get a bigger kitchen or reduce tables if you can't...
Read moreWe were camping up in thr big horns and wandered down into Ten Sleep to browse around and stopped here for some breakfast. Cute little place, decent amount of seating. The server was friendly and kind. You can tell the other patrons were locals, known by name, not to be unexpected in a town this small. We ordered the chicken fried steak and the skillet with all the meats. Both were good. My husband and I both liked the country potatoes more than the hash browns. A big plus was the Syrups they offered for your pancakes, more than just maple which my husband hates, they also had a strawberry syrup and a another flavor, maybe blueberry? The pancake was large and fluffy and my husband enjoyed it throughly. It's a very religious forward establishment so if that is something that may entice or discourage people. We are not religious and still enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere, but others may feel differently.
Anyhow a good place for breakfast in Ten...
Read moreGreat food served up in a wonderful warm clean relaxing atmosphere. It took the proprietors (husband and wife) almost a year to prepare this place for opening and the care and labour they poured into it shows. We ate a great breakfast here on our way through Wyomingâs backcountry [motorcycle] discovery route. This is the kind of place where in addition to the great food, if you have time, youâll find yourself talking with the owners, enjoying the wonderful art on the walls, and trying out the comfortable antique couch for over an hour after your done eating before you realize time...
