The Sleepy Coyote — Restaurant in Ten Sleep

This place is my favorite place to eat in the entire US. I don’t know where they source their beef from but it has the best tasting burgers and steaks. The southwest salad with steak is an go to when I want to eat healthy. And they make their dressing from scratch. The cilantro crème is so good on the southwest. My friends swear by the greek salad and dressing. And don’t get me started on the coyote fries, they are addictive. I could slather that jack daniels sauce on a flip flop and eat it.

The hospitality is amazing like everyone of the employees are on point and the bar is filled with really friendly locals, rock climbers and tourists all conversing. And the drink prices for local draft beers run super cheap and even the mixed drinks are inexpensive but delish.

My husband and I stopped at Ten Sleep WY to stretch our legs, get some souvenirs and have a bite at Sleepy Coyote. The place has a cool casual vibe. Although the AC in the place doesn’t seem to adequately cool the room, We didn’t mind it. The place wasn’t really hot and there was a lot of taxidermy on the walls which was Interesting to look at. My husband got the cheeseburger and I got the pulled pork. Both were served with regular cut fries on the side. My husband ate every morsel of it. The pulled pork was so flavorful and tender and seasoned just right. I love the fries too coz it was crispy and not oily nor soggy. It was delish! The size of the burgers were just enough. An under discovered gem in the small, but lovely community of Ten Sleep. We were exploring the area and decided to go look at the town of Ten Sleep, on a Sunday, at lunchtime, we discovered this magnificent restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was very good, prices are reasonable. You order inside, at the counter, your drinks are immediately given to you, your order is promptly prepared and delivered to your table. Soft drinks are refillable. We chose to sit outside, we travel with our dogs, the outdoor seating was simple but comfortable. On this bright, sunny day, the table umbrellas came in very handy.
