Arby's — Restaurant in Tennessee

My partner and I love Arby's! Whenever we return to Tennessee, lunch on the way home at Arby's is a real treat. This Arby's location is approximately a third of the way home and is a perfect, convenient location to stop and have refreshment. We been have visiting this Emory Road location for several years. The restaurant is immaculate and the food is delicious. This location consistently serves fresh, hot, delicious food very efficiently. It is also one of cleanest restaurants on the planet! Generally, the customer service is excellent. However, our last visit in April found everything perfect, except for the service received. Upon placing our order we encountered Tammy, who took our orders and payment. Sadly, Tammy is totally devoid of personality; she didn't respond to "please " or "thank you " nor will you receive either in return. My partner and I both ordered our favorite sandwich, the Beef & Cheddar with curly fries. As usual, our sandwiches and fries were delicious! Really "hit-the-spot!" We both enjoyed a strawberry lemonade which is exquisite! Very refreshing and delicious. The dining room is super clean and offers a very pleasant atmosphere. Since we have long drive home, both of us enjoy having a refill of beverages for the road. Unfortunately, Tammy seemed shocked and dismayed we would be so audacious as to ask for lemonade refills (shame on us!). We were promptly and sternly told "no". Absolutely, no refills on the lemonade (no need to ask!) This Arby's location always, in my opinion, deserves 5 stars. Accordingly, I always review and give a 5 star rating. Unfortunately, I can't give an excellent rating on service during this last, recent visit. Hopefully, the superb customer service that is normally present here will be restored soon! Otherwise, this is an excellent, efficient, convenient...

This location had done me better in the past, but definitely not earlier today around 5:30pm. I was looking to get the 2 for 6$ fish this day, but they recently changed their 2 for 6 menu items to the regular roast beef and the cheddar chicken sandwich. So I decided to go with the chicken sandwich. Now, I've has this before, so I know it's not a whole chicken patty that's on the sandwich. That wasn't my concern - my concern was that there's been times where the two chicken 'strips' on the sandwich were dried out. This has happened more than once, but I decided to roll the dice...and I lost, again. Bit into it and not only was it ice cold, but like tougher than chicken jerky, if that's even possible. So I went back through the drive through (it was empty at the time, probably for good reasons) and told them my situation, so they said drive on up and park by the curb. So there I waited.. and waited.. and waited. Several other people went through the drive through behind me, and then it was dead again. A good amount of time had past (probably around 20 minutes) so I got out of my car and went inside (Yeah, probably should have just done that to begin with) and said, 'hello? Did you guys forget about me? Been waiting out here.' One guy looked at me dumbfounded, and I heard a woman say, 'he's been waiting for his chicken sandwiches.' She responds to me, okay, we are making them now.' So I went back outside. Five minutes later a person came out and gave it to me. The new sandwiches were still cold, but at least the chicken wasn't dried out... so yeah, it will be a long, long while before I revisit this Arby's.

Excellent meal and service!! I have been a fan of Arbys for decades. As a child I was fascinated by the buildings shaped like a covered wagon and the huge neon cowboy hat shaped Arbys signs of the 70's /80's. Fast forward to the Arbys of today; modern, upgraded buildings and smaller, energy efficiency signs. However, the food remains tasty and fresh, with many classics from decades past still available. My partner and I visited this location on our way to his home from the Knoxville airport. Very convenient location, with easy access to Emory Road and interstate 75. We both ordered the classic Beef N' Cheddar combo, a favorite of ours for decades. As usual, we were not disappointed! Excellent, fresh, hot sandwiches with lots of melted cheddar cheese. My partner ordered curly fries and I the potato cakes, each enjoying a refreshing lemonade for beverage. Excellent choice! Perfect meal! Jordan, our friendly and helpful server was a real delight!! Jordan provided excellent service with a smile. In fact, everyone working this evening was most pleasant and friendly, making this a perfect dinner and great way to start my visit to Tennessee. My partner and I strongly recommend this...
