I don't usually write reviews, but I felt I had to share my experience at this Starbucks branch because it was disappointing and, honestly, frustrating.
My family and I ordered three drinks: a Strawberry Açaí with half lemonade and half water, a Caramel Frappuccino and a Vanilla Frappuccino. The first drink they gave us was completely wrong - instead of what I ordered, they gave me a Pink Drink, which contains milk mixed with lemonade. That is not only far from what I asked for, but it can be dangerous for people with stomach sensitivity or allergies. I tried a sip and immediately noticed that it was not the right one, so I went back to the counter and explained the error politely. The cashier was understanding and friendly, and ordered to remake the drink correctly. They handled that part well.
However, the rest of the visit was another story. One of the workers, a blonde woman, clearly showed annoyance every time we asked a question about the rest of our order. Although I was respectful and apologized several times for asking, she answered me with an unpleasant attitude and even rolled my eyes. At no time was I rude or demanding - I just wanted to make sure that the drinks we paid for were correct.
We also noticed that she and another employee were whispering to each other and laughing while looking at us sideways. It was uncomfortable and felt like a joke. And the worst thing was that, while we were still waiting for our only caramel Frappuccino, another family that arrived after us received three caramel Frappuccinos before us. At that point, it felt as if they were intentionally ignoring us.
We were not rude or made any fuss - we just wanted to enjoy our drinks quietly. This situation could have been handled with a little professionalism and respect, but it ended up being an uncomfortable and disappointing experience. It is sad to feel that you are being treated differently for no reason, especially when you are being educated from the beginning.
I hope that the management of this branch takes this seriously and pays attention to how they are treating their customers - especially certain employees. We all deserve to be treated with respect, regardless of...
Read moreVery disappointing experience. I visited this Starbucks today with my daughter, my niece, and my baby. From the beginning, there were several mistakes with our order. We received the wrong drinks multiple times, even after politely explaining how we wanted them. The staff seemed annoyed when we pointed out the issues. Although they didn’t say anything directly, they laughed among themselves, ignored us, and served other people before finishing our order. We waited over 20 minutes just for one coffee.
The whole situation made me feel uncomfortable, like I couldn’t even express my frustration fully. As a paying customer, I deserve to be treated with the same respect as anyone else. I hope management takes this seriously and works on improving how customers are treated at...
Read moreBest Starbucks in Knoxville! I've been coming to this Starbucks for a little over a year and have been to all the other locations in town. Their quality of work is SOOOO much better than all of the other fast-pace locations where many employees rush the process and end up making your latte taste iffy. I almost always get a mocha latte (especially seasonal lattes) and they are more patient and skilled at making holiday drinks! You may have to wait longer on some days when the store gets busy, but it will always be worth it in the end! It is not just this location either, I have been to other Starbucks in other Targets (like Florida, Vero Beach) and something about this in-store combination just makes the whole experience...
