Coffee Cup — Restaurant in Terre Haute

I have been a server for over 15 years of my life at numerous restaurants. I have also frequented many other restaurants aside from that. This is by far the most-well functioning establishment that I have had the honor of frequenting. I have seen how hard the humans there work together to make sure that no customers go without the service they deserve! The owners are consistently helping all of they waitresses proudly (Seating people, getting drinks, helping clean up tables etc etc)! If something gets spilled the entire team comes to rescue with napkins, towels etc. The waitresses are always giving it their genuine best to make sure customers get positive efficient service! Every table is sanitized after every guest promptly. The owners and staff treat everyone that comes in with kindness! Everyone there genuinely cares about giving excellent customer service to every individual that enters this establishment! The food always come out super fast and more times accurate than not! Its overall a really great local place to get yourself some grub!...

Heading home from the doctor, I swung through a familiar neighborhood on North Lafayette.. My brother ran a business in that same area years ago.. One of his favorite jonts was The Coffee Cup Cafe.. It's family atmosphere was very welcoming and my brother was always quick with a joke or a wink.. Kind of like"Norm" from the old TV series "Cheers"... He made friends with the owners and I'm sure he spent countless hours there, simply because he didn't want to leave.. I was reminded of the void left after my brothers passing... I had a stuffed pepper and some potatoes and it was absolutely dreamy as I reflected back in time.. I talked to the owner and he explained that they've been open for 20 years now.. The community should be very proud to see families come in and sacrifice their services to the public the positive way that this restaurant has.. If I'm ever back in that direction, you can bet I'm going to pop in for another good...

My family LOVES the Coffee Cup!! We've been going here since we moved north about 5 1/2 years ago so my daughter who's 5 now pretty much knows all the waitresses and says this is one of her "favorite" places to go eat at 😀 we go atleast once a month, sometimes more!! The food is always yummy, the staff is always friendly, the atmosphere in there is very welcoming and they are extremely family oriented... The prices are very doable whether it's a monthly treat like it is for us or if you'd prefer to go to breakfast every morning like a lot of their patrons!! Don't get me started on the potatoe soup on Fridays!! My personal favorite 👌 I could probably eat it for every meal. Any chance I get I introduce friends to this place lol great vibes!!
