Read moreWe had fajitas and queso again. Yum! The fajitas come with beef, chicken, and shrimp for the meat. The setup has pico, sour cream, guacamole salad, and pico de gallo. Additionally, it comes with rice and beans. We chose refried beans. They seemed so smooth that they almost tasted fake. The rice was good and not dry. The meat was well seasoned but I believe the beef needed additional seasoning to give it a better taste. The meat, onions, and bell peppers were grilled and cut to perfection. Neither my husband nor I enjoyed the queso. I thought it was okay but not good and he did not like it at all. We both enjoyed the tortilla pressed tortillas which were very fresh and hot. Our server was beyond excellent and the atmosphere was extremely bright and focused with a set theme about the Hispanic heritage. Regarding the chips, they were pretty good and I thought the salsa was okay. My husband said the salsa was too tomao-E and he said it needed more pico in it. Our service was great and prompt. There was only a short wait for our drinks, appetizer, food, and ticket. We were able to pay promptly and were brought boxes, 1 large box, 1 small box, and a cup for our queso too. We were very pleased with the amount of fajita meat that was given to us. We received a sack to put it all in too. Despite us both eating until we were full, we had a lot more to bring home than usual. For sure one other person could have dined with us with no problem. There is plenty of parking including handicap- accessible parking available at the free attached lot. They have a kid's menu but I did not check it out since my kids are grown now. The fajitas for two were about $38. The tea was $2.99 and I drank water which was free. Our queso which we added ground beef into and had flour tortillas to come with it was about $14. We even ordered a few more orders of tortillas totalling about $6. Our total was about $64 for two of us not counting the tip. We had a good time and will be back but might not get the queso or will get a smaller bowl of it. I forgot to mention the queso that comes is an extra large. We took everything home we could reheat and it's still good the...
Read moreMy husband, kids, and I went to eat here after shopping at the outlet. Our waiter, Carlos, was not friendly from the moment we sat down. My son ordered the “Carne Guisada Taco Plate” off the kids menu. We assumed it was tacos. It was not. I asked Carlos if it was supposed to be tacos and he was very short and rude. I said oh we thought since it said “taco plate” that it would be tacos.
We also ordered a medium queso. We were a little over half way finished with it when my daughter scooped her chip into it and a very long hair came out with it. I laid it on the side of the plate and told the waiter when he came back. His response was “Yah, there’s women who work in the back with long hair” he did not seemed surprised, nor did he apologize. He did however take the remainder of the queso and and hair away with him.
I asked for extra sour cream, which I did not get. My daughter asked for mustard several times, which we never got.
When we got our check, I noticed he charged us for a full queso. I asked him about it he said “you ate it, so you pay for it. I said we didn’t get to eat it all because there was hair in it. He pointed at my daughter and said “maybe it was her hair, maybe it was your hair“ At this point I was so over it that I just paid for the whole thing. Which I probably wouldn’t have made a big deal about in the first place if he would have apologized or offered to bring us a fresh one, or been kind at all.
I was very...
