FOREIGN CUSTOMER SERVICE
We have always eaten Pizza Hut. Recently, though, we spent over $60 on a delivery order and one pizza was supposed to have extra sauce but had NONE AT ALL. I wasn't mad at first, these things happen, not trying to be a Karen, BUT ...
I called our local store # to see what they could do to fix it. Called and got: press 1 to order, press 2 for all other ; pressed 2 and got an ad for car insurance THEN an ad talking about ROACHES and pest control services. (not appetizing while eating your food)
After a confusing direction on what to do next, I just hung up. I honestly thought I had maybe dialed wrong #. NOPE, next time I got same thing. So I pressed 1 (to place order) and got a REAL person, She could barely speak English. I explained what happened and that I thought their customer service line had been hacked. She apologized and said she would report it right away.
She said I needed to speak to my local store. She said she would connect me. She put me through to the same recorded car insurance and pest control ads.
The customer feedback was looped where I could NOT even contact Pizza Hut with my issue. So hopefully, someone with the company will see this. They have lost a customer and after asking around, they have lost many because of this issue.
We are going to try and chose more locally owned and operated businesses. I looked it up, and it seems India is where we call now when we order pizza by phone and for customer service. There is NO WAY to contact the local store. This...
Read moreOrdered 3 pizzas and wings for my family online, the online service stated that the pizza would be delivered at 11:05 (actual time was 9:45) called the pizza hut to verify my order and time, and was confirmed that it would be 11-11:15 before they would deliver. I asked if i could just come pick it up and they could take the delivery fee off? The gentleman stated yes. I arrived to the location and pay for my order only the pizza is there (no wings) I asked the guy at the cash register about them he said "oh my bad we haven't had wings all day the bone out or bone in" I stated well I called earlier to verify my order... his reply was "my bad man" So I began examining my pizzas which upon further examination I found a slight hole in which I could see the bottom of the box no dough or cheese. Thinking it might have been just at the edge and because it was kinda rough handled cause some of the slices were seperated I brushed it off. I get home and start passing out slices and see there is a even bigger area under where ther is no dough at all its just cheese and topping by this time they were closed and weren't answering...
Read moreI've been to this Pizza Hut many times. They are relatively consistent in their service, quality of food, and overall business to their customers. I don't recall them ever being extremely late on getting my order to me. It is almost right on with the estimated time of completion. Yesterday night they accidentally gave me the wrong pizza. However, the pizza tasted great - it just wasn't what I ordered. For what the pizza was made for - the taste was on point, there weren't too many toppings, it was hot, it was great - but it wasnt what I ordered. And as a health guy, it far exceeded the caloric count per slice I was looking for. Lol but it was delicious! Simple mistake.
Overall - great place, super consistent, friendly people. But no one is perfect. On any other day, Id give them 5 stars. The same would be true if I received the right pizza. But of course we are more motivated to fill out surveys and reviews when things don't go right. I've at least tried to be honest ab my past experiences with them as well.
