Sam's Southern Eatery — Restaurant in Texarkana

Bought food yesterday night for my mama, and got tiny pieces of fish, hush puppy was gummy, food wasn't cooked the way I ask either. Once I got home she started eating and it was tasteless and a french fries were soggy after I ask for them to be cooked longer and gummy hush puppies(I mean look at how flat the fish is). I told her to stop eating, I called no answer, claim they stop answering the phone at 8:45... Ok. So today I called and told them and they said bring it back, after they brought the food out and had her look at it, the little short man with glasses and a mustache (I think Mexican) told us that they wouldn't do it again. How do you tell a customer, a paying customer that you won't remake their food again if it's wrong or not worth the money you just spent. I would understand if she ate half or most of the food and brought it back, but my mama stop eating after the first bite. Regardless if it matters or not they just lost customers, not what...

I don't know where to begin with this place. I ordered chicken basket basket with a sweet tea. A few minutes later the door dasher called me and told me that they didn't have tea and would a Coke be OK. I told her now just to refund the money and I'll drink water. So a few minutes later the door dasher shows up and and I have a Peach tea not sweet peach. She proceeded to tell me that the owner cussed her out and was very rude to her. I called and asked why I didn't get a refund and I got a peach tea instead of a sweet tea and they told me that their tea maker had been broken for about 3 months but I'm still getting a peach tea with a broken tea maker... Certainly filed a complaint with doordash the food was horrible too it was a sit under a heat lamp for a couple hours or something it...

The food is great but the service is horrible! I waited an hour for my food while I watched others come in after me, PLACE AN ORDER, & drive away. Service is key, folks! Update (apparently I wasn't very clear): I SAW PEOPLE ORDER THEIR FOOD. I watched as the carhop took orders on a pad in the same way in which they took mine. The thought that they may have called their order in ahead of arrival crossed my mind so I watched, fervently, so as not to make an unfounded claim of my experience. (I thought folks would make sense of it by putting it in caps in the original posting.) Quit justifying bad behavior & fix...
