Hey Mikey's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Texas City

If I could give 0/5 stars I definitely would. Went tonight to try to get my 3 and 5 year Olds some ice cream at the Texas City location. Online says they're open until 9 pm. We showed up at 8:15. My 5 year old tried opening the door and it was locked. So I look down at my 5 year old who is crying because all she wanted was ice cream and I tell her we can find ice cream somewhere else. I look up and the cashier is just staring at us and our two screaming children. She didnt even mouth the words "we're closed". Literally just stared. First thing you'll notice in this place is simply how clean it is. They have HOME MADE ice cream. Every flavor they make it in the back.... incredibly delicious. The young lady working the front, had a smile on her face the whole time. She with out hesitation let's you try any flavor you want. I have never in my life tasted ice cream this good! It took me about 10minutes to decide on what to get... everything was just amazing. Hats off to this place. I'll definitely be going back for a delicious treat next time...

Decent Ice Cream but way over priced. Texas City location is barely open. Odd times and days. Inside does not look like its taken care of. Kind of shuffled and disorganized. I don't think this location will stay open much longer. Its a shame they could not get the business like other locations do but its in Texas City and most people here can not afford $10 ice cream cones. Especially not a family of 4 or more. It easily can be almost a $100 to treat family here...
