Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Texas City

They're too good for my 10$ bill with a little bit of the corner missing on the bottom left and a TINY rip down the middle where it's been folded in half probably 100 times. I'm a restaurant manager so I went straight home got out my marker we use to make sure the bill is real (which from now on I'll carry with me) and what do ya know ITS A REAL10$ BILL They're just too good to accept! I quit going there a long time ago when their prices sky rocketed! For example just now to feed myself my combo was $16!!! I can feed my entire family with that at McDonald's especially with their app. In December we went to Jack in the box to treat our family, knowing they tend to be the most expensive drive through establishment. Thinking 30$ was enough. Next thing we know we hear $44 and some change. We had to remove some of the items our girls wanted like 3.99 small shakes for each of them and their Large order of curly fries to share, told them they could have ours. I wanted to just leave but I'd promised my girls. Tonight was my 1st time back bc it's just me and it went down like that. I'll never go back! Got home after I wrote this review and they didn't give me any of the special avocado lime sauce w/ my tiny taco that their pictured with and has been given to me without asking b4 when I've ordered them in the past so I had to go back up there just to get the sauce. They're not the same w/o the sauce!! The lady told me it's only upon request. Why do they have to be so greedy? Why not ask if I'd like the special sauce with my order? Went to get food around 12 they gave me everything but my 5 chicken sandwiches that was about $12. So yes I was going to make sure my kids got their food. Carla the cook told the guy at the register named Anthony that she had made them and given them to me that she was not going to make them again. The line was super long and since the lobby is locked I couldn't get their attention so I went through the line again that took me another 30 minutes to just go through the line again. The thin young lady told Anthony also that she was not going to make them again that it was 5 chicken sandwiches and that i should have them. First of all why would i wait in line for the sandwiches for 30 minutes just to make something up like i didnt have them i showed her the bags and receipt and they still denied making them. My food is cold and Anthony asked me to go around and wait for them that they would make them he later on comes out to let me know after waiting for them for a while that the cook Carla is not making the food he's asking for her to make. I was told to come back later on and ask for a refund or let them know that Carla the cook didn't want to make the order he's requesting. Went ordered by drive thru the person who took my order could not hear me so after repeating myself three times I just decided to order the drinks at the window. Then when I get to the window the first person gave me my drinks and told me my order and asked for the money. She walks off then another person hands my food and she walks off. The third person hands me my request for taco sauce while the other person is getting my change. She hands me two. We had three sandwiches. I asked her can I have more so she handed me two more sauces and I asked her is it possible I can get two more. She looked at me crazy. Then I asked for napkins because they only gave two. So I asked for more she only handed me two more napkins. So I asked her is it possible we can have like 5 more. She obliged. Yes I need more on case there is an accident. I ordered the buy 2 biscuit breakfast sandwiches for $4 which I have at the LaMarque location and they were fresh biscuits and delicious. My son liked them at the LaMarque location.
