I passed by this place every time I went to HEB and decided to finally give this place a try tonight. I had never had arepas before, so the servers kindly helped me pick out a menu. We ended up having their fried cheese sticks, arepa with hand-made cheese, and grilled beef (I think). The arepas were kinda hard to eat with hands, but I liked it a lot! Debido a que yo vivo lejos, llamo con antelación para no perder mucho tiempo al llegar al puesto a pagar y recoger la orden. Hoy quise hacer eso, llamé unas 40 veces y no agarraron nunca la llamada. Al llegar al puesto pregunté que había pasado con el teléfono que no respondía, y me dijeron que aunque vieron la alta cantidad de llamadas no respondieron porque " estaban muy ocupados ". Eso es inaceptable, igual pedí la orden pero les baje la puntuación de servicio a 1 ya que eso no lo puedo aceptar como respuesta
Alejandra, acá dejo mi opinión según lo prometido. Voy con la comida primeramente, debo confesar que soy el buscador del puesto comida que logre el sabor a nuestra comida rápida (maracucha) más implacable que existe y, sin lugar a dudas, ustedes hacen las arepas más sabrosas y parecidas a las nuestras, de todo Houston y creo que de Texas. De verdad, los felicito a todos y los invito a no disminuir nunca esa calidad en las comidas que preparan. Respecto a la atención, son de los más amables y cordiales que he visto, nunca dejen ir a Alejandra, tiene muy buena atención cordialidad respeto a sus clientes. Finalmente, el ambiente es bueno pero recuerden que el clima inclemente de Houston amerita la instalación de toldo todo terreno para que haya más comodidad al momento de querer comer en el sitio. Went to get the same order I’ve always gotten…then one of the..cooks? owner?…told me that the combo price was for the same type of arepa.
Why let people get an order with a different TYPE of arepa, not even a different priced item, then tell them no because you want to be greedy?
