Best Donuts — Restaurant in Texas

Well I'll start with believe the hype. They're delicious! Good selection of donuts. Price is in line with Dunkin but the flavor and texture is miles apart. They do have some interesting choices for kids like fruity or chocolate topped pebbles cereal donuts. The oddest thing is they don't have traditional Boston cream and when I suggested it to the girl behind the counter she gave me the it's not happening look. The only way you can get a traditional Boston cream is in a bar which isn't included in the dozen donut choices. They do have custard filled without chocolate icing on top which seems like an odd choice. Come on best donuts! Throw some chocolate icing on top of your custard filled for the Boston...

As a new Texan and a donut lover the first place I was introduced to was Shipleys, and sorry to say but not a fan at all. I decided it was time to find a new and better donut place so I went on Google and found this place. Let me tell you these are some good quality donuts. We ordered some donut holes that had chocolate and sprinkles drizzled on top, my usual cinnamon roll, a chocolate iced and even a breakfast taco! Everything tasted so fresh and soft and fluffy. We have been going here for the 5 years we have lived in the area. The service is excellent and these really are THE Best Donuts anywhere! Their kolaches are hand made and delicious. The boudin is the best I have ever had and the donuts are fresh and delicious. If there were more locations, Shipley would go out of business. Their donuts and Dunkin Donuts, cannot touch Best Donuts. Try the old-fashioned chocolate glazed, the blueberry cake or any of the kolaches.
