Living in Atascocita, you have a decent selection of Chinese takeout options. Tai Li caught my eye recently, and I decided to give it a try. Overall, it was a solid 4-star experience. Here's the breakdown: The Food: Tai Li offers all the classic Chinese dishes you'd expect - General Tso's, Kung Pao Chicken, Lo Mein, the list goes on. The portions were generous, and the ingredients seemed fresh. However, for someone who enjoys a bit of a kick, the spice level was pretty mild. Even the dishes typically known for some heat, like the Kung Pao, were relatively tame. Now, don't get me wrong, the food itself was good. It was cooked well, and the flavors were pleasant. But if you're looking for something that packs a punch, you might want to request extra spice when you order. The Tiramisu Surprise: Now, onto the unexpected star of the show - the Tiramisu! I wasn't expecting much from a Chinese restaurant's dessert menu, but I figured I'd give it a shot. Let me tell you, this Tiramisu was phenomenal. The ladyfingers were perfectly soaked in coffee, the mascarpone cream was light and fluffy, and the cocoa dusting on top was just the right amount. It was a delightful way to finish the meal. Service and Atmosphere: I ordered takeout, so I can't speak to the dine-in experience. But the online ordering process was smooth, and my food was ready for pickup exactly when they said it would be. The Verdict: Tai Li is a good choice for a reliable Chinese takeout meal in Atascocita. The food is good quality, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. Just keep in mind you might need to add some spice yourself if you like things on the...
Read moreJust tried the food and it was very mediocre. I’ve been to many Chinese places and this wasn’t anything special. The General Tsos chicken was soggy and the chicken pieces seemed low quality. It also didn’t have the spice it usually does. Their wonton soup had no bok choy or scallions like traditional wonton soup does. They wontons were always super doughy and the meat inside did not have the best flavor and was kind of tough. They seem to be kind of greedy too because they said they charge for chili oil and crispy you put in the soups which is ALWAYS included in your meal at any other Chinese restaurant. Charging for chili oil is like charging for ketchup or soy sauce. To top it off the chili oil wasn’t very good itself it tasted low quality and the flavor was very much lacking. I think this restaurant is lacking authenticity. I’ve been reading the recent reviews and I’m guess someone else took over the restaurant. It very much is equivalent to a Panda Express fast food restaurant or Chinese food from the mall. Disappointing. Does not give you authentic taste of quality...

🥢 The food? Absolutely delightful. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Seaweed Salad stood out as a true highlight—crispy, vibrant, and exquisitely seasoned. It’s the kind of appetizer that sets the tone for a memorable dining experience.
