Have you ever heard of the old saying things are what you make them.Or if you look for the good you will find it? Some are so high that they have forgotten what real air smells like. Or they’ve become so obsessed with who they have become that who they really are only feels good when somethings wrong with someone else. Well I r recently moved to Flint Texas from a big city. There was a new coffee shop with a new name popping up on every corner! Some I had no idea were coffee drive through! When I moved .I wanted to find a small out of the way spot where I could read my bible, or write ,draw or just watch the cars go by. After loosing so many to death in a short time span, I wanted to slow life down and enjoy life. Not be so high on my accomplishments , or myself! I wanted to just enjoy the gift of life. I wanted a coffee house small, intimate, A kind of place “Where Everybody knows your name kind of place” I found it…. …..Big Shots! Guys they have the best coffee, or maybe it’s the people that make the coffee taste so well. Either way, it’s not a big city coffee spot, it’s better, it’s run by Big Shots that don’t make a big deal about doing a dang job of serving “Big Shots”! Finally! A local coffee shop that gets it! While I have been a local coffee shop lover for years, both in the Tyler area and back in Salt Lake City, Utah, where I'm originally from, I've yet to find a local coffee shop with stellar customer service. Until, today! Usually, there are these aloof hipster types running the place that either ignore you or tend to act like coffee snobs. But, at Big Shot Coffee House, you will find genuine human beings who treat you with respect and serve some great coffee. The quality of the coffee was excellent and so was my daughter's smoothie. I really liked the vibe of the interior and the outdoor seating. And, there logo is super cool too! I highly recommend going to this coffee shop. It's nice to finally be proud to recommend a local coffee shop for more than just their brew. I don't have to say: "Well, their coffee is good... but..." No, "buts"...

Mkay, listen. I was so tired. I didn't know if a 2nd coffee of the day would actually help but I was desperate. New barrista Hannah greets me and takes my order, she is so kind and sweet. THEN....THE COFFEE. what WAS in this cup was the actual best S'mores Java Shake I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. It was STUNNING visually with the whipped cream delicately sprinkled with Graham cracker, the sides painted perfectly with chocolate drizzle BUT THEN.....I tasted it.... it wasn't just good. it was so smooth, there weren't any ice chunks, the flavors mixed perfectly, the little sips of chocolate expertly dispersed througout....chefs kiss Hannah, thank you for lifting my mood with your kindness & cool bracelets and chasing away my exhaustion with the literal best Java shake I've...
