I had one of the most frustrating and disappointing customer service experiences Iâve ever dealt with at this boba shop. I went around 4 PM and ordered two boba drinks and Taiwanese noodles. When I got back to work, I discovered the entire bag had leakedâeverything had spilled, soaking through and ruining my scrubs and staining the interior of my car.
Scrubs are expensive, and as someone who works in a professional setting, returning to work in visibly stained clothing was humiliating. I was shocked that a business would package a to-go order that poorly. It clearly showed a complete lack of care or attention.
I immediately called the shop and asked to speak to a manager. I was told the supervisor wasnât available. I asked twice for a call back and explained how upset I was about my ruined scrubs and car. Instead of receiving a call, I got a generic text message that said they âunderstood my frustrationâ and told me to send a complaint to their email. That felt like a complete slap in the faceânot only was I ignored, but I was dismissed like my issue didnât matter.
To make things worse, l later, I received a partial refund for only the noodles. When I called again to ask why, I was told the supervisor claimed too much time had passed between my order and my call. Thatâs outrageous when it was your fault. I called within 30 minutes, which is more than reasonable for something that ended up leaking all over me.
At no point did I receive a real apology, a phone call, or any real sense of accountability. The way this situation was handled from beginning to end was incompetent, unprofessional, and disrespectful. No one took ownership, and their customer service was non-existent.
This isnât just about the cost of food. Itâs about common sense, responsibility, and treating customers with basic decency. I left with ruined scrubs, a stained car, food, and a text message telling me to email someone.
Unless youâre okay with risking your clothes, car, and time, I strongly suggest going somewhere else. I will not be returning, and Iâll be sharing this experience so...
Read morePros: really cute place, smelled good, the staff was friendly, we ordered food and it didn't take long. I had the cream chai tea with boba, my kids had mango with boba and blueberry smoothie with boba...they all were delicious. I will definitely return for drinks. Cons: we ordered the tai noodles with chicken and pork dumplings. Everything tasted ok, not great, not bad...just OK. The chicken and noodles were obviously precooked and warmed up. The problem was the flavor was barely there, almost bland and the dish was so dry we couldn't eat much of it. I expected tai noodles to have more liquid or a sauce. The fried egg seemed fresh on the top but were overcooked and the eggs weren't runny. For $5.75 a plate it wasn't expensive at all. I think this could have been a win with a bit more liquid or a sauce over it. The pork dumplings were good for the price. Overall, we would come back for drinks...
Read moreI went to go pick up some smoothies with boba, and the smoothie did not taste like a smoothie at all. It tasted like if it was water, like blended ice. This is the first time that I have bought from here, I've been to other Boba Shops and they were great but this one yeah it wasn't great at all.
EDIT: The owner of the shop quickly got in contact with me to fix the issue. They re-did our order and even gave a free additional drink. They definitely care about their customers! The smoothies now taste how they usually do. I will definitely go again! Thank you for fixing...
