Blue Sky Lounge — Restaurant in Texas

I never give places bad reviews. but this is a must. Please do not be deceived by the good reviews. I've been to many hookah places and this was just BAD.

1. No sign when you walk in whether you should wait to be seated or not. You just walk in and wait for a long time for someone to even notice you.

2. No seating available. We had to wait for a while for them to pull up some dirty chairs and burnt table in the middle of no where.

3. BAD HOOKAH. We had to get it replaced 3 times and it still sucked bad. Even they admitted it sucked. First 2 stopped working and the third one smelt burnt. Hookah disposable pipes that we paid $3 for... was already burnt and looked used.

4. You cannot tell who works there and who doesn't. Everyone is wearing casual clothing. Therefore, you can't even get someone to help you.

5. Guy making patties was handling cash and then straight up touching meat with the same dirty gloves. Huge health violation.

6. 95% of the workers were just drinking/smoking hookah and sitting and taking up seating instead. Never have I walked in a place where this happens. No one truly cared about anything.

7. Servers were rude, at least the two we dealt with. When asked to the first server what flavors were inside the fancy hookah names on the menu, he straight up said "I'm not gonna explain that. That is too much. I'm not going to tell you all that."

8. People literally just got up and left without paying after receiving no service. Something we were considering doing since it was a nightmare being there, but we stayed and paid.

9. Owner said they strictly do not put hookah on tables in one of the reviews below when a customer said they burnt their toes.... LIES. Each table had a hookah on it. Owner, please speak the truth.

10. There was a fight that broke out between customer and worker and it honestly looked like a really bad club environment.

Dear owner(s), your place is a circus. One of the workers literally tripped and coals fell on her. One server was about to break down and cry. No one has a clue what was going on. You need organization and professional help. When we went inside, it looked 10 times worse than outside. We were angry at first, but then just felt bad for you. Good luck. Literally walked in about 25- 30 minutes ago and been seated at the only open table the whole time. I've made eye contact with the lady servicing everyone at least 3 times now and tried to get her attention and she hasn't stopped once to ask if I need anything. I haven't even gotten a chance to place my hookah order yet. I asked the people next to me that have their hookah if I'm to go up to the bar to order one or wait at the table for the lady to come to me. They told me she was supposed to come to me to ask if I wanted anything. After waiting a while, the server just came back over to change the charcol for the people next to me they told her I needed to place an order. This place closes at midnight and the lady literally only just now asked me if I wanted anything. I told her I've been waiting a while and she did apologize, I'm just confused as to why she ignored me this whole time. Still waiting on my hookah and unfortunately it looks like they only have this one woman bringing hookahs out and changing charcols with no help. To be fair I will make an update to this review if I ever actually get my hookah....in terms of how the hookah was.

Update: I never received my hookah a while later closer to 11:20 and they close at midnight so I left. No one tried to explain why I never got my hookah and the service obviously sucked. They should really be ashamed...

IF YOU LIVE ON SOUTH SIDE OR DOWNTOWN OR WHATEVER, MAKE THE Fckn trip because it' WORTH IT, Dude in the ancient book The Tao De Ching writen Lao Tsu. The Tao means like the ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE OF REALITY BEYOND THE ABILITY OF MERE WORDS TO COMMUNICATE, the books explains it in other words Lao says "The Tao that can be named is not the eternal Tao" That's, Blue Sky Hookah lounge will take you to that state, fuccn good times beyond the ability of words to even attempt to communicate, you gotta COME HERE N EXPERNCE IT FOR UR SELF! Get HERE ASAP, drop whatever you're dong and get ur a55 over here.
