I don't think blacks are welcomed. 1st visit & just exploring to see where myself, daughter & family friend where going to have lunch after some shopping. We go in and theres a gentleman sitting down behind the counter near the register. There was no greeting but only a blank stare & facial expressions that may have suggested that we looked like flea stricken stray dogs...idk. But the look was NOT inviting or welcoming AT ALL! Still no greeting so we all 3 spoke to the man & asked for a menu. Finally a dry hi & apparent fake smile. As we're scanning the menu, I look up to see another man approaching with a total frown upon his face, looking at us with total disgust & shaking his head back and forth as if to say "NO, NO, NO!" Then he rolled his eyes at us. Needless to say, he didn't see me observing him AND we were definitely the only patrons in at that time. So I know these slimy gestures were geared towards us. We obviously opted not to order as I was never gonna patronize a business that didn't invite my presence. But then again, I heard these parts of Texas are more on the racist side. Anywho, I will not be back! & what a shame bc the food looked & smelled amazing & the...
Read moreMy family has been coming to Zamani’s for many years. Now we live about thirty miles away. They have the best tasting chicken shawarma I ever tasted overseas and in the USA. I now live on the other side of Houston, so buy pounds to take home. Their Fatouch salad tastes amazingly fresh. My wife loves their Tabuli salad and Hummus. They grew a grocery store that has a lot of things that just keeps getting nicer and more products. Meat market to Middle Eastern products and other items to buy. I literally brought hundreds of coworkers and customers and family members to Zamani Grill when I worked and lived close to here over the years. Now I drive 30+ miles each way to buy in bulk to take food home for parties and family meals when circumstances align. If you have a chance to eat here or take food home from here you will be amazed. I dip my chicken into the garlic and others loved the hot sauce. I had a student from Saudi Arabia that I brought here and he recognized the flavors. But he said it tasted better than any he tasted in Saudi Arabia. Lol. You can not go wrong if you crave delicious food at Zamani...
Read moreTHE WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Not once but twice they have taken 20+ minutes to accept my order through grub hub, then on top of that when I went to pick up the order, they claim to not have an order that ever went through for me. The first time, the little girl went double check through grub hub and found the order and apologized and made it right then and there. Awesome. The second time, the very rude guy working looked at my boyfriend as if he were stupid and repeatedly told him he did not have an order under my name. Even though I’m on the phone with my boyfriend reading out my receipt, the guy completely ignored him until my boyfriend had no choice but to walk out. Then I called 12 times to try to get the mixup fixed, I was repeatedly hung up on each time. They had accepted my order to get the $18 that I owed then blatantly lied about having approved said order. Thankfully grub hub refunded me my money. But I would not suggest Zamani Grill to anyone unless you want to be stolen from and treated...
