Catfish Station — Restaurant in Texas

2025: i think it’s because im black to be honest!! I WAS REFUSED A KIDS MEAL! My son is 7 and he wanted a kids meal and they said they don’t sell them!! Crazy! Madness! & I just bought one there last week!!! 👀 Yes they do!! U can’t force me to buy a full meal when the food is mediocre! Yea IM COMPLETELY OVER THIS PLACE! I miss the original catfish station on 1960 with the original owner! These franchises have just gotten ridiculous! This is my last visit! GOODBYE CATFISH STATION (AKA) the station! 🚉

2023: WONT BE GETTING MY BUSINESS ANYMORE!! ✌️ I guess they have a new manager and she’s a lady! But charging for sauces when the prices have went up and the food hasn’t improved is ridiculous! I guess I’ll have to find a new catfish place because I don’t do changes too well especially when NO CHANGE has come behind the price increases! There are several locations (CATFISH STATION) (THE STATION) and the food quality is different every where you go. Owned now by different people. So no consistency! I’m giving 1 star ⭐️ and today will be the last day I come in.

Love their fish and tarter sauce! Their fries aren't the best! Usually never fresh either. First time I went in the manager checked my ten dollar bill as if it was fake maybe they should invest in a bill reader to not make customers feel so awkward about spending their money. Other than that, great fish.

2015: Under new management and he’s great!!! The food is fresh the fries are so much better!!! They also have a new Alfredo sauce and it’s freakin awesome! Wow! Definitely upgrade from 4 star to 5. Hands down best fish in Houston and trust me I’ve tried a lot of places!! Including your popular...

First, I knew it was gonna end badly when I walked in and smelled NOTHING in the air. With any good chicken or fish joint you can smell the batter pulling into the parking lot. Beware of the 4-star reviews. Texans are food-slow and eat anything placed in front of them with enough salt n pepper on it. This place does NOT sell catfish. They are selling SWAI (a much cheaper fish) at catfish prices. Anyone who eats catfish regularly can easily taste the difference. Don't get me wrong...the Swai fish was tasty. Just overpriced and fraudulently passed as catfish. Second, do not order the Super Jumbo shrimp dinners...the shrimp are NOT even large shrimp. I forgot to take a pic before quickly giving it back. Third, ALL the sides are processed and pre-cooked. All they do is heat and serve which is why u smell no seasoning in the air upon arrival. Fourth, some of the items we ordered are no longer sold at this location but they still had it on the menu. Last, do NOT order from their website because if anything is wrong with your order they have no ability to refund online purchases. The manager was very nice and agreed they did make use Super Jumbo shrimp as stated but had a difficult time refunding my card thru their online merchant. So I just had to order more Swai fish. My impression of this restaurant seem to be more of a takeout place people ordering it online or over the phone or walking in and placing in order to go? So from my first impression of the atmosphere is that the kitchen staff is way too loud laughing and doing all kinds of jokes or whatever it is that's going on in the back question mark the music in the kitchen is way too loud instead of them playing some music over the intercom since there are speakers in the ceiling? Also ordering what I thought was catfish apparently was not catfished it did not taste like catfish? I had to remind the manager that the men's room the soap dispenser was out of soap I opened it up so they can refill it the toilet paper dispenser was a two role model having two large rolls side by side one of them was low the other one had some paper on it but these people really need to check this bathroom every hour and make sure the toilet is flushed the sink is clean the floor is clean and the mirror is wiped down! The reason nobody was eating in this restaurant was the loud music in the kitchen and the loud kitchen staff was not conducive to a peaceful...
