Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Texas

I should have taken it as a sign. First I go in look at the menu, then I order a 16 piece mix with 2 LG side's plus 2- 1/2 gal sweet teas. Also added a regular side of okra with two regular banana puddin. Almost $45.. No biggy because we really wanted fried chicken 😒.. Just for them to point out a small hand written sign on the Plexiglass that the card Machine wasn't working.First off once I got to the counter why didn't you say cash only ..So I went to the ATM and got the cash out... Get my order once it was done which I didn't understand why it took 25 minutes when nobody was in front of me. So I then come home to start making plates just to see they didn't give me one of my lg side's. Ok whatever, then I'm like sorry ya'll the guy that work's there is young I get it man your their to make a check but next time make sure you give me all my items. Then I go to make glasses of this sweet tea just to taste very old/soured tea. So not happy at all. Then I pour all those out and give them something else here to drink. Just for my chicken to taste old and over cooked,biscuits over cooked hard as a rock,Okra burnt.. Like really guys the only thing was was halfass okay was the dang mash potatoes with gray,and that's it.. Been 4 year's since we got chicken from this location and I NOW remember why.. Never again will I ever...

Completely unacceptable (and consistently awful). We ordered through UberEats and honestly this was the worst we’ve ever received — not just from this location but from any Church’s Chicken. The chicken was completely stale and dried out, the fries tasted half-raw and undercooked, the mac and cheese was bland and clearly NOT fresh, and the gravy tasted like it had been reheated from the day before. This isn’t just one bad order either. Every single time we order from this location it somehow manages to get worse. It’s honestly embarrassing at this point — either the cooks don’t care or the manager is purposely telling them to keep serving old leftovers instead of making fresh batches. That’s the only explanation for food that tastes this stale. We’ve tried other Church’s locations and never had a problem — but this location is by far the worst of them all. It needs to be called out, because customers shouldn’t be paying full price for food that tastes like leftovers. Absolutely ridiculous. Do better. I manage for a company and wanted to order the crew that works underneath me lunch for working short notice. I attempted to place the order online and got the stores mixed up, my fault for the mix up. Anyway I attempted to contact this store and cancel the order but no one would pick up the phone. I called the customer support number and requested a refund and a copy of the receipt once a week for 2 months. The way their customer support works is they will take your request and submit it to the store and hopefully they will get back with you. According to their customer support they do not make any out going calls so they can not help you any further than sending an email. If you would like help out side of directly talking to the store I would not get your hopes up.
