I'll give it a 2 because let's face it, Delias tamales are the best. However this location has the worst service ever. We try our best to avoid it by going to McAllen but today it was unavoidable. We were in a hurry so we went through the drive thru....well we tried to any way. We asked for spicy chicken and cheese. The response was we don't have any. So I asked if they had frozen, the response was ummmm I don't know hold on. When they came back they told us yes they did have some frozen but they couldn't sell it to us through the drive thru window we would have to go inside. When we asked why they said it was what they were told. In all my years no matter the Delias I have never heard such a thing. When we asked what they did if the person was handicap their brilliant response was simply I don't know with a shrug. I will forever be a Delias customer but I will never support their...
Read moreI gave this imparticular location a 3☆ because their chicken tamales were very dried, not moist, and had a lot of crushed bone. Idk why this never happens in other locations. The salad y'all need to watch what and how you prepare it. It has a lot of cores, and it is aweful, no greenery, all pretty much white. But I will give them credit on the Menudo very tasty good yet pieces were a bit gummy. As if they didn't clean it that well, so I set aside those pieces. They have good fresh corn tortillas. Anyways maybe I got an old batch of chicken tamales. The pork tamales were ok, not the best. The gentleman at the table next to me ordered the pork and were sour had a funky taste, smell and maybe they were expired. So, I was not happy about that either. You all need to label how long you freeze these and ck the taste. Not all are that great if they don't sell well. Just sayin. I don't know...
Read moreI decided to take stop by and pick up some tamales from Delia's after having worked my night shift. It was 7:40 in the morning, and I noticed there was just one vehicle in line so I thought score I'll get my order fast and be on my way home quick. Then I attempted to place an order, and no one replied in the intercom. So I drive up only to have one of their employees tell me they are not open. I look at their hours of operation and I look at her puzzled. She then tells me if I wanted tamales I would need to come back until after 8am. I came back at 8:10 and the same situation happend. I got to the intercom and no reply. I waited like 15 minutes before they finally took my order. I had never experienced bad customer service but now. I will never go back to...
